What if the community plays it first on Xbox and discovers that the game is as bad as the first gameplay demo suggests? No subsidy. GP still hurts Xbox and releasing games much later will do nothing for Xbox financially except be another cut in it's metaphorical flesh.
@tacoboto
Uh, well, here's a thoght... If MS didn't know how to manage any of these devs, they shouldn't have moved to acquire them!
20 threads and about one day later... You are the first person to mention this was a feature of Xbox in the past. My first and only Xbox console was Xbox 360 and this was a fixture of most of tbe dashboard with dedicated ad-space even when the console isn't online. Of course more recent firmware removed the ad-space from the dashboard which is nice, but the point is that it should've never existed in the first place. The blade dashboard might not have had any ads but all the Metro or ...
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Why would it be a classic game like FH4 or an utter trainwreck like FM23 when GT7 is obviously a better game?
Why would it be a game like FH5 when that title is losing steam MAU wise and is set to be delisted in a couple years due to music licensing? Is MS really going to re-up on music licenses to port an exclusive to PS5? StarField did poorly HB2 might come... I hope it doesn't but MSFS24 on PS5 could build some hype for MS as a 3rd par...

No one said PS gamers were okay with the proposed PSP/PS3/Vita store closures. The point in saying Xbox gamers were making videos is that they were gloating about various online PS storefronts closing and that they didn't care when MS did the same thing to them.
PlayStation fans were not happy and also made videos and social media posts starting an outrage chastising PS for the proposal. If only Xbox gamers did that do you think PS' store...

"yes but if you use your VR2 on the PC side, you lose even more of what sets the PSVR2 apart from the Q3." Like?
"No foveated rendering, no haptic feedback on the headset, no eye tracking." Oh right, stuff no PCVR game supports, so why does it matter again?
"It's a higher resolution headset at that point, assuming your PC can push the added pixels."
Well PCs are supposed to render everything at...

"There is no goal post moving..."
Proceeds to move the goalpost, "if one company (MS) decides to not put all their eggs in one basket..." right here is where the goal post is moved, "and change their overall business model because they are getting whooped by the competition..."
So, MS lost the console war and immediately changed their strategy? You don't say! Also, this is, quite literally, what moving the ...
Based on the majority of comments it seems gamers don't even want a challenge to go with their achievements/trophies at all. I find that strange.
Someone on YT called Vanilla posted a hacked GT clip where cars went supersonic and each one made a sonic boom. I thought it wasn't real... now I'm guessing it is. Hopefully some of these are uploaded and I can view them or there is a tutorial. I read the patch notes but it did not explain what tweak to the car would cause an issue nor what the issue was... apparently, this is why.
There's one small problem with that... Peacock is part of a totally different industry, one that doesn't make video games.
@H9
FTC provided worthwhile arguments, they basically prophesied the Game Pass price increases from Xbox post-merger. Somehow that isn't enough for you.
Because PS6 will also be a thing and backward compatibility is now a staple of PS again with dedicated efforts to recover legacy libraries.
What a joke... wonder how long until FM23 with RTGI is compared with GT7 on PS4, though? Also which game will look better?
When the Mongols invaded Tsushima Island the Samurai were wiped out completely. Ghost of Tsushima's story is a work of fiction and the thing is everyone knew it including all the people at PS in Japan. This was well known with Shuhei Yoshida actually interviewing Nate Fox about the story of the game. The reason PS were not challenged in Japan for GoT is because the game and it's fictional rendition of Tsushima Island were never considered historically accurate by Sucker Punch or PS. G...

You mean how the conservatives are trying to bring the Ten Commandments into school? Yeah, that is dumb. Black studies was racist and revisionist, that is why it was shut down. Similar revisionist history was being pushed across the American Southwest claiming Mexicans built the US which was also shut down. Those curricula were designed explicitly to make black, Hispanic, and Latino students feel good about themselves while making white people out to be the bad guys i...
The Japanese apparently agreed to devalue their currency in the late 80s which bit them hard in the early 90s. The Americans made the offer to keep Japan from becoming a more wealthy world power than us in the US. We like to ignore our failings too. Face culture is not just an Asian phenomenon.
"A key ingredient in any conservative project is to get people to forget what the past was really like[.]"
Otherwise known as... THE EXACT OPPOSITE of political conservatism, which aims to preserve the environment, life, culture, and history as well as the last well functioning means of governance.
Not if I don't pay for Game Pass. If I had a Game Pass subscription this would be the reason to cancel it for me.
This closure only effects the Xbox 360 storefront. MS being the huge liars that they are we can't fully trust that this closure will not affect any Xbox/360 BC games... but they didn't actually say it would so I'll take that to mean this store closure only affects Xbox 360 users until we learn otherwise.
This just lets me know that you know nothing about anything. Modders don't have to worry about licensing or corporate and international rules and regulations. Its why they can inject nudity and gore into E10+, E, and even EC rated games.
So long as the corpos don't know a modder is using copyrighted works they won't go after them. The reason they don't know is because they don't have to go through legal channels to do such things. It's precisely why ...
