The article says he's been with the company since 2006 working mostly on PSN, but also elsewhere in SIE and Sony Corporation.
That's not how this works. In the article it says Herman Hulst will control the game dev side of the operation while Hideaki Nishino will control network services. So we will know who to blame and for what.
True but seeing how all their games come out totally broken due to rampant mismanagement. I don't see MS making much money on games as a publisher either.
True but this time the journalist is indeed Korean Kim Soo-min.
In the interview from Game About, which was carried out in Korean the interviewer asks about the Naytiba (네이티브로) which actually means "native" and asked about potential confusion with parallels to American Indians for us specifically in the U.S. Western media didn't catch that at all.
From Game About:

- Game About

CEO Kim Hyung-tae: After the Day One patch, th...
No, because they're not talking about other aspects of the supposed censorship and ultimately the article is about getting the suits back, which is what is being cheered on here. So obviously these guys are creaming their pants to the 'uncensored' outfits instead of actually playing the game as intended. They make themselves obvious and are being called out for it.
The disagrees suggest there are more whiny babies here than leftists afraid of nice looking females.
@Gameseeker_Frampt
What those articles don't tell you is why this is happening. Firstly, I couldn't find much on 4B from Korean sources online. That doesn't mean this couldn't be a huge movement, it might be but from what I've been able to find it amounts to a news article and a couple (and I do mean a couple) blog posts. Why is this happening in Korea (and also Japan and China)? Poor economy. The same things driving low birth rates in the west along with replacem...
💯 Embarrassed to play to some extent because people are so petty about this anyone who catches wind of the 'censorship' will think it was a game made for perverts in the first place, when that was never the case.

@Christopher
"This is billionaire thinking. We can only pay attention to the biggest dollar makers. Even though there is an extremely thriving industry of non-live service games."
That is not what I said. Firstly, smaller game devs are not thriving. Most make a couple games before losing their studio and with no money they can keep their IP, but make nothing with it. Is that really great for anyone? If these low buget games made the most money... indies wouldn'...
@-Foxtrot
Christopher is wrong. Indies only have control of their IP if they can keep on making money. That's why they make cheap small most of the time really bad games. You may buy them and have a good time but in the end you realize you have to justify the money you spent playing many of them while the developers if they're any good lament never working on anything bigger. It's not easy to make games and there are hundreds of indies making their first games only to dis...
That won't save the industry. Sorry to tell you but the reason there are so few indie devs making console games today is because live service has the best chance of success. The bigger games need these massive publishers. You can keep on playing the little games devs make while dreaming of making something bigger and what happens in the end is both parties lose. We see that more and more. Why is that? Because economic mandates. Higher minimum wages, unionization, and ever growing legal co...

Halo: acquired
Gears: acquired
Fable: acquired
Forza: Xbox did make that themselves but it took the world (and by world I do mean games journalists) 16 years to discover the franchise was just not really all that good.
I could run down the list but really the only Xbox IP I know they created was Forza off the top of my head (not counting Kinect games which they might have created too)... Xbox has b...
Some of their fanbase is still supporting MS... they are dumb, and that isn't up for debate anymore.
MS is California sober.
@badz149
And it's gone now... that was fast.
Maybe quote it next time?
Because you didn't see two CEO's taking up the former position. You only claimed Hulst and everyone expected him to lead PS. No one expected multiple CEOs.
