Or you can also back them up. Some things on PSN are gone for good like the P.T. demo. If you didn't make a back up of that game... it's gone and can not be re-downloaded. I don't think PSN has outright deleted any other title and P.T. being a demo, it was free to everyone didn't cost anyone anything after it was removed from PSN. That is also probably why they felt it was fine to delete it like that.

I also tested savegame file copying myself on PS3 official firmware version 4.91 and it worked as the manual stated. This feature works very similarly on PS4.

Only PS5 is more restrictive. I don't know if any PSP games had copy protected savegame data but as I said some PS2 did at least when played on PS2 HW. That meant you couldn't copy some PS2 savegame data to another PS2 memory card inserted into the PS2 console even if there was enough spa...

This feature was not removed on PS3. It worked on all FW versions since launch. You just need a compatible USB drive or HDD to get it to work. Basically any USB drive between 32MB to 64GB will work and any supported HDD.

Why do people lie about this? Also from the PS3 official online manual:
"Copying saved data to storage media (making a backup)

Data that was saved to the system storage can be exported to storage media,...

You can just in bulk only as a back-up where we were able to do this per game on PS3 and on PS4 so long as the game save wasn't copy-protected. Some PS2 games also had save game copy limitations. This was true of some games on PS3 and PS4. In those cases you could still back up those saves on PS3 and PS4 by doing a back-up. On PS4 you could choose to back up just save files like on PS5. The major difference on PS5 is as I wrote earlier, you can only back up save game data by creating a ba...

@Frosty
Uh... The new PS5 slim and Pro drives need to be activated to work with the system and that activation does take place by connecting to an online service.

Then you should have access to the Welcome Hub. It replaces the Explore Tile in the US or will appear to the immediate left of the first game on your home screen.

@CobraKai
A PS5 remake of Killzone 1 with all the visual splendor of PS4 on roids thanks to PS5 at something approaching 4K at 60FPS with RT would be sick, especially since that game originally was not exactly a looker back on the PS2.

Am I missing something? What did Grievous misspell?

Set your PS5 as primary. You can have one primary PS4 and a primary PS5 on one PSN account. If you have a secondary PS 4 or 5 system you may not be able to have perpetual offline licenses for digitally purchased games. It pays to pay attention to the details of the services you use.

I get that in a perfect world we would just have no issues with such things at all and PSP, PS3, and PS Vita didn't have these issues, but as I mentioned this isn't new since it was the ...

I dispensed with my PS fanboyism to pick up an Xbox 360.

The Xbox 360 in turn made me wonder why I stopped being a PS fanboy, though.

They just might to be honest, especially these days with all the gooners.

Ah, well, Jin was a least a male form we could aspire to be more like. Which reminds me that I should really stop thinking about working out and just get to it. I'm probably around 165lbs now. I hear that's still fairly light for a man my height, but I feel fat.

I'm with you in hoping they keep that old HP leveling feature.

A ghost being memorialized? Honestly, even a passing mention of Jin Sakai might be a bit too 'memberberry' for most.

"I notice that pattern most guys feel some typa way when they can't see the virtual characters cleavage[.]"
As a matter of fact that also was the case in Stellar Blade when everyone accused Shift Up of censoring the original designs of many of Eve's outfits. They really only find it ok to play as a female when they can masturbate to the main character and this was also largely true of Lara Croft (though there wasn't much to 'wank to' given the original v...

Yeah, but how many times did you die to the trained virtual Mongol hoards? A game will never ever be totally realistic that said GoT was the most grounded experience we have gotten out of videogames for... well outside of playing simulators it's probably one of the least flamboyant about the limitations of being cut in half by a katana especially if you beat the game on Lethal difficulty like I did.

Honestly, I'm way more skeptical about all kinds of media these days after the woke mind virus took over the world. That said the wokies are still making the best media even if they make much less good and great media than they ever have before... at least over the past 30 years.

The guy saying 'don't like; don't buy' doesn't work with either Sony or PlayStation anymore. Why are you taking his opinon as if the dev team is compelling him to say that? Such a strange take and it's a stupidly popular one, too.

[@Darksky - tag added, sorry for any confusion]
Ace Combat did it. Mobius 1, Blaze, and Galm are all characters we made up with a name given to us by the writers of the series. You literally have references to Phoenix Squadron in Astro Bot from the first games in the series dating back to the PS1. What does it matter if the game's protagonist is different every game.

Insomniac Games did it with Resistance 3 we played as Nathan Hale in R:FOM and R2, but then as ...

That's all well and good, but Sucker Punch's staff all probably vote blue and operate out of Seattle Washington and still make good games with less in the way of totally banal out-of-place political messaging making it into their games. So, I'll continue to give them the benefit of the doubt until they prove they've lost the plot.

The characters in AC: Shadows are a small part of the problem the bigger part of the problem with that game is how disrespectful it is to botony, architecture, and Japanese culture at large. The game devs at Ubi just think 'that looks Asian' and go with the flow. Also less people were upset about Naoe (the female ninja) and more were upset about Yasuke precisely because Yasuke while a recorded person who existed in real life didn't do anything and wasn't actually a Samurai. ...
