It is true that PC has billion of potential users. Data backs that up as much as data backsup the fact that PC gamers hardly ever buy games at full price and yet also expect the most well crafted games. It's why former PC exclusive devs now also make console games and now hardly go beyond console spec.

But this is the golden age of PC gaming all the sudden.

I was unaffected by this because I know how to properly set up my PS5 as primary so that I don't need to be online just to use digitally purchased games. Is that different from GeForce Now? GamePass is also on PC, just for your information. There is also Apply Arcade, and Google Play Pass on mobile and Ubisoft+ and EA Play on PC. All of the above listed services and PS+ offer games for a monthly subscription fee.
