The PhysX processor is not in any of the next-gen systems. It is only "somewhat" available on PCs, although support is _extremely_ limited.
Both the PS3 and the 360 have several options for 3rd party physics API middleware solutions (read: Software, not hardware), to perform physics calculations on the CPU (or GPU if you don't mind your game looking like garbage).
Day of the Tentacle was a sequel to MM, so while not technically a remake, it is very similar and in many ways improved.
If you don't mind sharing, Scrumptious, where do you work? You've really managed to articulate the issues incredibly well, and I'm wondering if you work for a development studio?
This is TOTALLY off topic, and I apologize, but I just got the latest issue of Gamepro and the cover says MGS4 360? Wii?
I can find NOTHING about the 360 inside. Did anyone happen to find where this text is or is it just a garbage rumor?
I honestly believe the _vast_ majority of devs are building their games for both systems. With the number one cost of a game being the art assets, it makes little sense _not_ to port.
I imagine that we hear of "exclusives" only while devs hope that Sony or MS will pony up extra cash for first party release.
Is that pictures rarely give an accurate representation of how the game looks.
PGR3, for instance, looks AMAZING when you pause the game to take a picture, when the game is actually moving it looks substantially worse.
For some reason, to me at least, racing games almost always never look as good as their screenshots.
*Note: I'm talking in general about ALL racing games. This is not a bash on Motorstorm at all.
"...ship 2 million units of its PlayStation 3 game console worldwide by the end of December... "
OK, so you'd have to be a _very_ irresponsible executive to confirm these numbers if you didn't have solid evidence that this was true. The fact is, shareholders will (collectively) lose millions and millions of dollars if expectations aren't met.
That said, I think most of us can agree that given the current supply situation and the fast approaching deadline, So...
I for one could care less about BC on any system, but if you do then I'd check out the video. It is a little long but does a really nice job showing the comparison. Sony should at least confirm or deny the issue (and issue a patch if it is the case), although we all know they will not.
WTF is wrong with you? Seriously. I point out a factual observation about the Bungie job board and you tell me to slit my wrists?
Seriously, is this the sort of behavior that is now acceptable on this board?
You posted a link to the jobs page at Epic. The same page that hasn't been updated in 6 months and that has absolutely no "new" information on it.
You could have done the exact same thing with any video game company on the planet, as virtually all of them have openings for one position or another.

Shows the power of a headline to alter the facts.
I state two facts:
1. The correct game release systems
2. That the sequel is still planned for the 360 and PS3.
I stated that this misinterpreted the facts to make it appear as if Burnout became a "Sony System" and thus PS3 exclusive in the next gen.
Nothing about that was "fanboyism". You, however, with the following lines, " It's not on Xbox 360 either lololol!" and then bringing in your upbeat revi...
Whomever posted this as PS3 news did so in an extremely manipulative way.
This is a "tribute" to last gen, and therefore is ONLY going to be released on Ps2 and PSP. NOT THE PS3. As they say on sites that require a high school education, RTFA!
The NEW official burnout sequel is still obviously on for both the 360 and PS3.
"PS2 is still outselling 360, so whaddya think's going to happen next xmas when sony produces numbers of PS3's that match their current PS2 output? "
PS2 is outselling the other consoles because it is $129!!!!!!!!! This should show you that the number one factor of importance is price. MS will be able to drop the price faster and with greater percentages than Sony, obviously. Just because the PS2 is selling well does NOT mean the PS3 will automatically sell well next ...
Memory Stick (forced on those of us with Sony products)
D.A.T. tape.
I bought a Wii at launch and have been trying to get ONE measly extra CONTROLLER, every single day, to no avail. I imagine attempting to find a system will be much, much harder.
There is something wrong with the stockpile...although no one wants to come out and admit it. We were told that Wii's would be plentiful, although Reggie hinted that they might not produce enough when he said that we should buy one know as they will sell out.
Wii prices are still at $50...
This is "tricky", given that I'm sure not everyone listens to Larry each weak, but Mcantelon is correct, that is absolutely not him. Sounds like the guys from XBLR.
While they might not be easy to copy now, it _will_ get easier. One of the big reasons MS supported HD-DVD over Blu-Ray was because HD-DVD supported "managed copies" to ALL of your devices...laptops, p.c., media servers. While this is obviously a hacked workaround, when the drives hit p.c's you are allowed to make backups for your own use.
The fanboys on this site absolutely dismiss the Wii. These are the same people that haven't played one, I imagine, because it is a pure blast.
While I couldn't imagine having a Wii as my only system, it is time to start taking the idea of Wii "winning" to some degree very seriously.
The console is performing remarkably everywhere, and the hype for the machine far outweighs that of the PS3.
