personally i wish features updates for the ps4 were common, but when they come they are good. you can't fault a major update if it breaks a thing or 2. there are so many variables and configurations involved across such a huge number of consoles and situations - its near impossible to get every single thing right. test as much as you can, sure but eventually the ultimate test is releasing it into the wild and seeing how it performs. at least they got a patch in place quickly.
hehe clever :)
well done, ps4. well done.
i have both games and i'll tell you - both f5 and fh2 are miles beyond drive club. just look at the features of each. drive club has more in common with something like nfs shift or project gotham. the forza games have so many tuning optiions, upgrade options, configuration options, play modes etc its not even a competition. if either of those games were on the ps4 and drive club was on the xbox, people would be laughing at even the thought of them competing. look at the reviews as wel...
Forza just face palmed drive club at arms length while drive club just kept swinging at air. Then it tuckered itself out so forza put it to bed wrapped in a warm blanket. "You'll be a big boy racer someday" forza whispered gently.
Probably realized he didn't need to drive to the office to do nothing when he could do that at home
Drive club is an average game that has spent most of its release time being broken. and remastered titles are just that... Buy a new console to play the same games you were just playing on the old console? Upgraded textures and res are nice but let's be real..... That's literally just giving an old game a paint job except you're paying full price... Again.... After that $400 for the console. And yes uncharted will be great but it's not here now so the question was is the ps4...
yeah. thats smart. unless you love the games that are out right now on ps4 then its best to wait til sometime in 2015 or until the library gets more diverse. the game selection is growing but its not big enough to have lots of things for everyone. more like some things for some people. #nextgenproblems
i like my ps4. i got it the day it came out - no doubt as eager as most people to fire it up. if i knew then what i know now though i definitely could have waited to pick it up. don't get me wrong - i'm glad i have it, but for me personally all the games i was really hoping for or am excited about aren't launching till 2015-2016. 2014 has been a mixed bag.
well... the number score is just the rating of ones satisfaction with a game. kind of like when you take surveys about the service you receive at a restaurant or maybe a product you bought. the actual review itself tells you how the reviewer came to that score number score. its the part that a lot of people don't actually read.
i say to follow the reviews from the people you tend to trust or agree with. the scores may not all be the same across all sites or publications but at least when you find a like-minded site, the reviews are easier to trust according to your own tastes.
@bathyj
NPD actually includes POS (point of sale) data from retail in their numbers as well as other factors. The one thing they don't count are digital sales
the graphics are pretty simple and vector for the most part so i dunno about looking better... they are certainly very sharp and fluid, i can tell you that, and it does run at 1080p/60 native on x1
haha yeah. i played the beta on the ps4 and x1 and both of them made me feel like i was playing on last gen systems. the physics are horrible too for a game based on driving.. the hud feels like its from 1997
ummm what? i played the beta and thought it was awful. easily the worst of the new driving games this gen imo.
so good. I've been buying this game since the first one. just got geo3 yesterday. it holds up to the others. hell this game is more fun than most AAA stuff coming out lately.
They never claimed they weren't estimates. It even says several times on their site. If you want hard numbers, that's what services like npd provide.
I strongly disagree. If anything I think it's a refreshing change of pace.
ios even runs unreal 4 now.
xbl isn't 100% up but it is more stable than psn. In the last year i'd say i've had a 3:1 problem ratio with psn over xbl. i don't really care which one is superior, these are just simply my observations. xbl also seems to come back faster when services do go down as well.
