cool, but i think i'd like them more if they were shiny and reflective like the original cover. matte finish looks kinda cheap imo. maybe they look better in person. i love that this is a thing though. i'm sure people are going to come up with some cool stuff beyond this.
i've seen plenty of god rays on xb1 games... and also.. remember how they said that the lighting effects are different in gta5 on both systems? like the ps4 version had more blooms... thats actually not true. its true that in the two pics they referenced the ps4 had more bloom, but there are plenty of times on the xb1 version that the blooms are full on present. just depends on the time of day. the ps4 hits 1080p a little bit easier while maintaining fps. the faster memory allowed it...
this post has gotten all topsy turvy it seems. i too remember KI as Nintendo. It was when the their big 64bit engine came out and it was basically an N64 with more ram crammed into an arcade cabinet so that the experiences at home and in arcades would be similar.
why do people like yourself assume that the ps4 is closer to pc power when in fact it is closer to xb1 power. if the ps4 and xb1 were graphics cards, it would be like a $30 difference. Ill take 30fps with better visuals over 60 fps with pared back visuals.... Or run it at 900p/60 fps
So a game is only good if it runs at 60 fps or more? Story, visuals, gameplay don't matter? You should probably not play games on consoles and get a pc if that's the case because your options for titles are going to be very, very limited.
That's weird. I remember playing street fighter in the arcades... Quarters stacked on the lip of the control surface. And then Nintendo.... And then some other platforms.

this game looks amazing, but so did Ryse last year and look how it turned out. I really want this game to be good because it looks absolutely fantastic but I'm still not sold on the gameplay. technically its brilliant. Gameplay wise it looks a bit simple and gratuitous at times with the mini games and weird sequences to do simple things, possibly a bit repetitive (exactly my problems with Ryse as well coincidentally). i'd add No Mans Sky to the list. I love the concept of it, but i wonder if its going to get boring. I guess I either don't know enough about it or understand what it is completely because I feel like I'm missing a big part of what makes me want to play it aside from exploring for a bit.

while I'm not disagreeing with what you are saying i would just like to add the point that some people don't spend the money for what they are actually buying capability wise or market rate - they could just buy any ps4 for much cheaper if thats all that mattered. they are spending the money on the fact that its a special edition, nostalgic, numbered, might have a high value in years to come if it becomes a collectors item.. which is probable since there were so few of them. kinda li...
bummer. that thing was sweet. i love the nostalgia of the grey but i also wouldn't be bummed to get a white one either. not as meaningful but it sure does look cool.
my money is on 7.5-8. I'm hoping for 9s but every time i read a hands on, they always come back to the gameplay not being great.
