nothing wrong with disagreeing with someone.... considering the game reviewed very well though it seems odd. like... if you didn't like racing games you probably wouldn't buy one no matter what the review. but if you liked racing games and bought one that reviewed really well the probability you would trade it in would be slim... regardless as i said, people do have a right to disagree and not be called out for disagreeing as you yourself suggested.
surprise surprise. nothing good to say. but if it were drive club... oh boy look out.

yeah definitely. i would agree with what you said. I think its an awesome console too. some of the features are just so cool and useful... feels very futuristic. I actually had no idea that you couldn't do voice commands through the headset as I've always had the Kinect. That should definitely be something they try to include in future updates for sure.
i actually really like the UI. one of my few requests though would be to have the ability to make top level folders as pins... like make "FPS" folder, pin it, and then have all my fps titles in there, then another for "Racing" and so on.
for what its worth I agree even if no one else does. I love the racing genre and am really into racing in real life too. I think the physics model in Driveclub is ok but its not the best. Very arcade like. the cars accelerate and brake way too fast and the tires are entirely too sticky for the speeds it portrays.

Uncharted4 and Batman Easy. Maybe No Mans Sky. It's piqued my interest but I feel I'm missing something.
i'd like driveclub more if they worked on the physics model in future updates along with good wheel support. the cars just behave too unrealistically to me. the acceleration is way too fast, the tires are entirely too sticky, and the braking is unrealistically fast. They say this straddles arcade and sim but to me it leans way more into arcades yard. and i really despise the super rigid track boundary.

I want to like this game but I feel like its going to be the PS4's Ryse. It has all of the same symptoms; Beautiful graphics, great cutscenes, extremely linear, repetitive, simple gameplay loaded with QTEs. It seems that most of the people that play it (with some exceptions) say at least loosely the same things.
10k units? I know everyone here loves to bash the Xbox in a hurry and sing of its demise but that number is actually more likely 200,200 units in NA. that's about 190,200 more units than the fanboys were quick to express their opinions about. well... heres a free lesson for you. Film runs at 24 frames per second. Digital film cameras run a mode called 24PA (24 frame advance at 24fps, progressive). How does more than doubling that frame rate make something feel cinematic? 30 fps is even faster than film. Europe uses PAL for broadcast which is 25fps. considering that "cinema" is 24 fps, i think 30 fps looks more cinematic. 60 fps may look more fluid, but thats not what makes the cinema "cinematic". Movie cameras also have motion blur, DOF and all that too.

so the cover system is different than gears of war because the camera is closer and moves more when peaking? I mean i guess thats different. i don't see why having a cover system like gears of war is a bad thing anyway because it seemed to work out well in that game. i just want compelling gameplay that isn't disguised as a bunch of QTEs. dang. it sure is a beautiful looking game though.
i think it looks better than uncharted personally. im more excited for uncharted, but this game is definitely gorgeous to look at.
if you think this is the best racer out, then you have not played other racers OR might not really take the racing genre as serious as other people.
the weather certainly helps it, but it still has other issues imo... or lack of other things being those issues.
