Not only have I played it, I know people who worked on it. That's how I got an advanced copy. Play a good racing game and then go back and play DC. You'll say "oh. I see now". Pretty graphics don't make a racing game good.
Meh. It's not good enough to be worth the trouble IMO. It reviewed poorly and launched poorly. It has no depth or longevity to keep people waiting around. Motostorm sure. Driveclub, no.

I got so freaking burned out on COD and then they just kept rinsing and repeating so I stopped buying. This release had piqued my interest so I picked it up on a whim. I am happy to report that it's actually pretty good imo. It's definitely the best COD in quite a while. Graphics are better, frame rates are buttery smooth (at least on ps4... I doubt it's laziness because companies as a whole don't just get lazy and employees that get lazy are usually fired so that doesn't make sense. A more likely scenario is that it did come late in development and they didn't have the budget, time or resources to really do a proper job on it. Better fast app switching, better resume (literally zero wait to go from game to app to tv back to game and the game is literally just running already exactly as it was before it gets swapped), running two apps at the same time on screen,, more functionality (hey external drive support for executables and dlna, mkv support), better voice command integration, real-time info updates on the live tiles at ...
I agree. I think the Xbox will have much stronger than historical sales, but the ps4 has been doing remarkably well. That's probably not going to change. The US and Canada might be pretty darn close though
You mean you'll just wait til the 6th to reiterate that you think ps4has the better lineup. Based on that pm you sent me, there's no way you would even think about Xbox positively and would list a page full of sales stats to confirm that ps3... Errr ps4... thats weird coming from a site dominated by sony fanboys... a site where every xbox article has the first couple comments flagged for trolling and a TLOU menu settings for sound story hits the hottest number one spot on the page. don't see nearly the bias on the other sites i follow.
That said, I think both sides have some pretty compelling stuff to offer. really looking forward to uncharted for ps4 and quantum for xb1.
More doesn't mean better.... Personally I'm indifferent on the matter but it seems like the fanboys always need big numbers to state which is better... It really matters what tastes the gamer has. Someone might favor the PS4 lineup because of games like Bloodborne or The Order. Some people may not be interested in them and prefer Quantum or Halo. Regardless, having a bigger exclusive lineup does not equal a better one. Just look at the reviews for Driveclub compared to Forza Horiz...

It's the best racing option on the ps4... But it's only real competition is nfs Rivals. Not exactly setting the bar too high. Sales don't make the game better. I own DC,F5, FH2 and unfortunately NFS Rivals and I gotta say 2 of those games don't really get touched these days. That's just a straight up nonbiased, already spent the money on all of them opinion. Fh2 has turned into an addiction by comparison.

this article sums up my own thoughts pretty well - except I have the XB1 and PS4. The PS4 is a technically (slightly) superior machine in terms of gpu/ram, yet I spend more time on the XB1 because it has more games I want to play right now. Weird how that works. FWIW I usually buy multiplats on the PS4 - yet I think that still says something about MS' library considering where my free time is spent.
I'd wait til its sorted. I broke it out again the other day after a couple weeks of waiting. It was still pretty bad. The connections constantly tank, matchmaking doesn't work that well. To be honest, I don't even know if its worth your money. You should really maybe consider waiting til the free version to see if you even like it... or find a friend that has it. Maybe that friend can Shareplay it (dunno if its blocked or not) Aside from the outstanding visuals, its a prett...

I've been having more fun with the XB1 than the PS4 lately. The one PS4 game I was really looking forward to in 2014 after Second Son was Driveclub and I don't think we need to really say much about that. Xbox has had some great titles coming out. FH2 is downright awesome and SSO has been proving to be a blast as well. Multiplats are multi plats and the PS4 might have more 1080p games, but 1080p doesn't make them better....
