ive played the beta and im sure the game will be great but these aren't the most impressive screenshots. i'd like to see some story mode stuff.
@hellsvacancy:
There is no comparison with xb1 updates and ps3 updates. the xb1 updates happen when its asleep and pretty much take around 5 maybe 10 min max to update (depending on the connection speed). When it boots up you suddenly have all kinds of cool new features and capabilities.
When the ps3 would update, it would surprise you by being unexpected. then it would take a really long time to download, then a really long time to install. when it was d...
naturally the first comment is flagged for trolling because the xbox got something positive.... thus cementing the perceived stereotypes of well... we know who..
agreed. it extends to journalists being critical of things worth being critical about too.
i have all 3 gen 8 consoles (hence my profile name) although the wii u has been boxed up since a move and a lack of inputs on the tv and also laziness i guess. anytime i gripe about something with say the ps4 (especially drive club or media capabilities) i get really angry PMs and people reply saying I don't even have the game or the system - as if its impossible or ludicrous to say...
i wouldn't say its perfect but its definitely some of the most fun i've had in an open world game. i love it.
That's totally accurate. I play consoles and I'm married, in my 30s with a pretty well paying job to boot.... Wait a min. That's like the opposite. ;)
driveclub is not a bad game. but personally the server issues were only a part of my issues with it. my problems with it are that when you strip away the admittedly impressive graphics and fantastic sound, you're left with a racer that feels very basic with very few options - especially when you compare it to other racers. even if you accept the weird physics and don't care much about how realistic they are (or aren't in this case) there isn't much to do but pick a car and ...
everyone knows i don't think driveclub is the best racer, but its certainly much better than a 3/10 i will concede that.
i'd like to believe you but i don't. anytime anyone criticizes the ps4 - even if legit, are labeled fanboys and haters. i love my ps4 but i agree with this list. I'm already on my second ds4, the battery still sucks and has to be charged at least twice a week when in regular use, the thumb sticks are already wearing out on the second controller and I've only had the system for barely a year.
the organizational aspects would be nice but not a huge deal.
to the surprise of no one.
yup. this list sums up my feelings pretty well. although some of it feels heavy handed, I really mostly agree on the controller and the fanboys parts. that said, the ps4 does have some nice features too. the sharing is better than on x1 and i like the ps4's activity feed more than the x1's. I do love the fast resume, app switching and snapping on the x1 though. The ps4 needs to "borrow" that stuff because they are fantastic and not having to wait even 1 second to go from...
nice one. i was just playing this online last night. fun tracks and certainly challenging.
if only the game were actually about weather effects...
...except its about racing. god forbid someone put the effort into the driving aspects of a driving game and less on the water effects or light refraction.
i mean - i wish DriveClubs physics model used ambient temperatures, air pressure, saturation, tire temperature, tire deformation/wear/temperature, altitude as good as PCars apparently does but unfortunately it doesn't because they aren't ev...
i agree with most of this list except Infamous (which wasn't perfect but was still good) and Destiny. Im not a huge Destiny fan, nor do I play it much if at all, but for sucking as bad as people say it does, they sure do play it a lot... long after its release. It can't be that disappointing.
It's already running 1080p/60 on ps4 and expected to hit target on xb1 as well
Now this kind of stuff is what matters to me in a racer... The details of the driving
I don't really think they have to offer us anything. I mean... It sucked. We were inconvenienced, but it states in the TOS that sometimes s!!! Happens and you understand that and agree (more or less). Now if they got proper hacked and my credit card info was exposed (again), I'd be feeling a little pissed off and expect some compensation for the hassle of changing my cc number (again). A DDOS though? What could they do?? Lizard Squad owes me, not Sony.
I think for me it is. I'm very excited for it and it's tied at my number one spot across all console platforms.
The order looks the prettiest but im not convinced it will be good from what I've seen and read. Bloodborne also looks graphically impressive but it seems more of a niché kind of game for demon souls/ dark souls crowd who also like punishing difficulty - which I'm not.
Plus UC4 is naughty dog. Those guys might as well be super...
im pumped for PCars coming to consoles AND that its being compared to other heavy hitter sims. That is very encouraging to me.
Yeah. That time I had my credit card info stolen on psn and got panicked emails from Sony about it... Then lots of downtime on it. Then DDOS attacks on it that kepit down for days...then the corporate hack that exposed tons of my friends who were employed there and had all of their personal info compromised. yeah. A pillar of security and strength.
