This is a great add for the ps4. For those asking about the X1 resume, it's instantaneous. The reason is because the X1 runs two os' simultaneously so the dashboard and games and or apps can literally run at the same time (it even keeps the game running in a window that you can see when you're in the dash). Not saying that to start a war, just saw that people had asked. 15 secs on the ps4 is still way better than what currently seems like an eternity to load gta5 so it's still...

Dc looks better but will be worse as a racing game. They put all the effort into graphics on drive club and not into the actual sport. At least pcars will cater to true racing fans and not be a glorified tech demo. DC is nothing more than a stripped down arcade racer with fake tracks and no depth. Forza6 and gt7 will probably be better than pcars but pcars will probably be better than what we have out now... At least for true fans of the sport wanting a sim.

Pcars is 1080/60 on ps4 and x1. And there are other 1080p games on X1 if that's what you're trying to say....

I doubt it

they always compare xbox games at 900p vs the ps4's 1080p so i think if the pc can run the game at 4k its a fair comparison. funny too how people will say how big of a difference the ps4 vs x1 graphics are with 180 horizontal line difference, but when the ps4 goes up against something way more powerful, then the pc needs to run a lower res to compare.

should they lower the res of ps4 games to compare to x1 games too when x1 is at 900p to keep it consistent? even if the...

The play station is the only product that is selling though. Tv sales have dropped 25% in the last year I believe. Audio system sales have dropped. Their computers have tanked and are now gone and their smartphones and tablets are not even coming close to competing with apple and Samsung and even samsung with its own dropped numbers is still killing Sony. So is LG for that matter.

I bet playstation gets spun off at some point or sold and the company goes under. On top of all ...

@unreal: indie games are fine -especially when they hit this level of quality. It's when you go upgrade your console after 7 years to get more power and most of your options are small arcade games to play on it is the problem. Sony had barely any major aaa exclusives so they crammed indies down our throats... And yes I own a ps4.

Played it for the first time last night. Wow. It deserves the scores it's getting. It's gorgeous, the animation is top notch, it's emotional. Just wow. So far it has met and exceeded my expectations.

Less watching, more playing. Less restrictive gameplay. A game can be linear but The Order practically holds your hand and walks you to and through every set piece. Reminds me of a Disneyland ride on rails at times and makes the levels feel small. Allow for some proper find your way around/exploring. It's a beautifully rendered world that you really don't get to really dive into.

Battling the lycans shouldn't be a series of sequences and qte's. Takes away som...

i think share play is an awesome feature but i also feel that publishers don't have much of a reason to support it. the general anecdotal logic from its big supporters is that it exposes other players to a game that they might not play or purchase otherwise... a parallel to a game demo for the most part. the thing is though, statistics show that game demos really make no impact on sales - which is why is why we don't see tons of them these days, if someone is going to play a game ...

the more i read about this game the more intrigued i am by it. i'll probably end up buying it, if anything just to support the innovation at work here.

at bare minimum I'm sure it will be fun, at best it will be one of those games that you play and the hours just disappear without you even noticing.

i agree. i don't mind cutscenes, but i feel they should add to the story and be something special that you come across at pivotal moments in the game. the rest of the story should unfold throughout your journey as you play through it. theres no reason that gameplay can't tell a good portion of the story i guess is my point :)

amen. be a part of the story, not just observing it.

Well that sucks, but I'd rather them get it right I suppose.... As long as it doesn't launch late and still be broken which unfortunately seems to be a thing now.
