This will be the ps4 exclusive that will nail it on the reviews from both fans and critics.
i agree with everything you said. going to be such an amazing game and naughty dog know how to bring it. great visuals, great story and great gameplay.
So i agree that it deserves better than a 4 but I also agree that it's still not a great game. Apparently most people out there feel the same as its averages are in the 5s and 6s so not really sure what you mean by bias. Seems maybe you might be the biased one in this scenario, no offense. If you like it though that's all that should matter to you
I've played it on pc with the oculus dk2. It's pretty awesome.
Having an opinion about something isn't trolling even if it's different than yours. Honestly the world has spoken and it agrees. Average reviewer and user scores are in the 5s and 6s. Seems pretty meh to me.
It's not a great game but probably deserves better than a 4. 6.5 maybe.
That's good but I'd be willing to pay more for better quality/specs considering my experience with current vr devkits and the fact that there probably won't be other vr headset options available for the system. High resolution screens are key because the screens are split in half (half resolution per eye) and magnified really close to the eye. This results in it making individual pixels look "dotty" on the kits I've used so far. It would be really nice if Morpheus di...
Agreed. A sequel could dial in this game and rebalance it. make it less restrictive and more fun. The potential is there.
Haha touché
I do realize that but it doesn't make it any more fun for me. The story is ok but it's not so compelling that it should sacrifice the fun of gameplay. Every time I get into some action and actually start having fun it comes to an end and you have to sit and watch more. If I wanted to watch a movie id watch a movie. They could tell the same story with at least half the cutscenes and have more actual gameplay and to me that would make the game better. I think they could get a sequel rig...
I love how people are commenting on a pre-alpha as if that was any indication of the quality of the final product.
I bought the order because I was curious to see the graphics and what everyone was talking about. I also don't see a ton of ps4 exclusives that show what the ps4 can do without being shackled to cross gen assets. That said, I still don't think its an amazing game. It's an ok game. My purchase was one of curiosity and lack of other exclusive aaa games. Just because it sells well doesn't mean it's good or reviews are wrong. I turned it off last night after frustration of eve...
man... rockstar are masters of storytelling and detail. if this is true i will very excited.
Amen. My personal favorite is when they read the review, slam it with the usual "fanboy" "click bait" etc etc labels and then try to convince us that they don't care what the reviews say. If they honestly didn't care, they wouldn't read the review. If they read the review they wouldn't feel the need to comment on how much it doesn't matter to them and then demonstrate how much it doesn't matter by informing us that they are going to buy the game a...
its not the xbox one. its pretty close to the ps4 and people need to realize that. the ps4 has faster memory and a bit more powerful gpu. you've pretty much already seen the differences in power - a really graphically intensive game ends up at 900p on x1 and 1080p on ps4. thats about it. the xbox has a faster cpu so it makes up gains in things like animation, ai etc where it takes the hit in gpu so its not like it doesn't have some advantages over the ps4 as well.

agreed. this should always be the case. push each respective hardware as far as it can go. thats also why i wish we'd stop doing cross-gen
i agree. I'm an art director in broadcast/game/interactive media. every tone, swatch, composition, color palette, textures, etc are all dialed in over and over and over until its exactly what the way it was intended to be seen. in the case of the order, you can clearly see how adding in more color erodes away from the darker mood that was intended.
i prefer it the way it is in the game. so much more dramatic and cool. the color corrected ones look a bit more "typical" and less dramatic.
short and boring.
we're looking at how true to life the actual sport is being represented and you're commenting on color...
