I'd rather they didn't. All the more soon the first real Pokemon release for 3DS is available.
I'm rather against releasing characters through DLC, but if they offer Morph, I'm buying him day one.
Figures.
That was good. Thanks for posting it.
I've been really waiting on this game too. But I'm thinking that it's quite possible we'll be seeing Left 4 Dead 3 this Halloween. I hope HVS doesn't try to compete with that.
The point is, CoD is in danger as well. The market is currently over saturated with FPS' and CoD comes out every single year on console with very little that is fresh. They need an updated strategy or a severe decline is in the cards. They even stated themselves yesterday that they expect a decline with the franchise this year. Meaning a peak has probably been reached.
What's wrong with Samus?
Bottom line to me is that great looking games and more physics are possible on this thing, and it can all be done in 3D.
The advanced built in shader and texture system means a lot as well. The key word in this I think is "Capable"
Impressive indeed. I want to know what the battery life is though. If the 3DS is only 5 hours, it's kind of worrisome. Hopefully Sony invested in state of the art battery tech as well.
They own the Pacman IP as of now don't they? And the Bandai aspect of them has been around at least as long as the NES. I wouldn't call them a young child testing the waters so much as I would call them a calculated risk taker, who is slightly out of touch with the audience they seek, and often errs on the side of caution to a fault.
I wonder if we'll see 'The Grinder' on it.
lol?
My question is: Why is this in the DS section? I know it's about gaming, but HHG doesn't have anything to do with the DS unless he's putting it down.
Success in numbers to developers is dependent on how many it takes to recover costs and start making a profit. For some games it's 30k for some it's a few million. A good looking HD game of any decent length is going to cost quite a bit of money.
The giveaway is for people who buy the new game Black/White early on. So if you buy the new one before the event date, you can get one.
Pokemon every year? Goofy spin offs maybe. But the real games come out once every 4-5 years not every year. Maybe you are thinking of Call of Duty?
Since there's only one screen, it's best that it's on back imo. One thing annoying about touch screen phones, is that all of the wear and tear and fingerprints goes directly onto your viewing screen. It's also an issue on the DS, though a lesser one since the bottom screen isn't very important as far as viewing goes most of the time. I definitely don't want the wear and tear and fingerprints on the screen of this device. I'm sure it will work out well.
'Yet another rehash of Madden'
No doubt that crap is overdone, but people still want to play it. However, what are so many looking forward to with the dual analog sticks of the NGP? 'Yet another rehash of Call of Duty', and a 4th installment of Uncharted in 4-5 years. Come on people. There will be great games, rehashes, and different target markets with these handhelds. They'll both be successful, and the two different markets will overlap a bit in certain...
'Fastest character in the game'
If the creators say so, then I guess it's true. I sure didn't see it in that video though.
