lol Right... Spooked in the sense that 'Claire's' spooks a fine jewelry store. $1 garbage games with clunky controls that have a gem or two here and there may be here to stay since there's an audience for it, but a large amount of people will always want a premium, gamer centered experience. How many people have played Uncharted or Super Mario Galaxy, then bought a $1 game on their phone and thought to themselves, 'Now this is what I'm talking about!'? Come on...
This is ridiculous, As it stands now, neitherr HD console is likely to ever catch up to the Wii. Also ran? Come on...
While I may be a 'Loyal Nintendo Gamer' that has no bearing on what other consoles or gaming products I buy. Nintendo hasn't lost me due to this drought, and the drought isn't what caused me to buy other consoles. I own all 3 consoles because they all have various games that appeal to me. As far as my money goes, there is little competition involved. If I like a game, whatever console it's on, sooner or later I'm going to get it.
Climate change propaganda prefaced with butt kissing about how intelligent readers of this article probably are? Cap and Trade is a scam.
I am quite a Wii gamer. I have about 40 games. Even so, I haven't played mine since Donkey Kong Country Returns last November and December. There's just nothing appealing being released right now. That being said, I'm looking forward to Conduit 2, and TLoZ: Skyward Sword, and was able to pay in full my 3DS preorder due to the recent lack of games. I've been replaying Tales of Vesperia on 360 lately, Demon's Souls on PS3, and for the last few days Pokemon Black. In 2007-201...
This isn't really about Sony. It's about the big picture issue in which Sony has some involvement in their own way.
Why does there have to be a transition though? You can like one, you can like the other, or you can like both. I like both.
Probably stole the systems as well...
Here are some reasons for why you might find a used console/handheld during the first week after released.
1. Some kid gets one, cuts school, doesn't do something parents asked, etc. Parents take it back to store. Can't return it. Sell it at Gamstop.
2. Some jerk steals one in one town, sells it in the next.
3. Someone spent money they shouldn't have and are in a real pinch. They take what they can get for it by selling it at a se...
There's one thing to look at. Money. Nintendo is making a crapload off of DKC returns. We'll see another one within a reasonable time. Maybe not this year or next, but we'll see one relatively soon.
Iwata just finished.
I knew all about Super Mario Galaxy by the time I played it, and yet the first time I took off running and jumped off of a planetoid only to spin around and land on the other side - to that music, I had the joy that is spoken of in this article. For me it's not about having the welcome screen unspoiled. It's about actually experiencing something amazing for the first time, regardless of what I may or may not have heard.
Pokemon battles in 3D on your front yard or at the park would be awesome.
I hope you get your Monster Hunter game. It would look amazing in 3D. Personally I'm hoping for Pokemon battles in my front yard or at the park, or in the forest, etc. A'la the AR cards, but on cartridge. That would be amazing.
This is an interesting concept, that has recently become a question in my own mind. I don't agree that the home console experience is unneeded or less worthwhile, but the hand held experience is greater than or equal in several ways. The point being that by going half assed financially with both home consoles and handhelds and having home consoles taking priority, I've missed out on many excellent handheld games. I would say that I will likely never give up gaming on my Television, bu...
'You sank my battleship!'
Looks to me like what they mean is that the old DS style games can run through their same old methods. This makes sense, since like most Nintendo backwards compatible devices, the 3DS actually shuts off as a 3DS and functions as a DS when playing a DS cart. Now if they had done this with the new 3D games then 'already hacked' might have been impressive. But watch this ignorantly get blown out of proportion...
I don't really want a sequel unless it has the same primary characters along with the new ones. I prefer a real remake with updated graphics, added side quests and story length that goes into all of the details we fans have nitpicked about for so many years.
lol That comic is is spot on.
It's not like you have a Wii anyway. Don't you have better things to do than create a negative atmosphere in a discussion about a game you'll never play?
