You lucky sonuva... :p
Less than a month away!
You can't be older than 17 yourself Drazz. You feel like a big boy because you don't like 'teh kiddie Wii'?If you are older than 17, then heaven help this world... FACT!
Two trends that imo are worse than those 4:
1. Faulty coded, glitchy games that become broken again at some point every time they are patched - and the acceptance of this as the norm, and o.k.
2. A horrendous saturation of the market of shooters based on the demand of a few million relative Johnny-come-lately's. The genre is leaking into everything else, and many people only see gaming through the shooting lens. Unfortunately, when those angry, hyperactiv...
CoD is the most glitchy and rushed perennial IP in video games. It IS broken and it does need fixing.
I don't particularly agree with those characters being chosen, but I agree that the lineup should be bigger next time. I also think that Nintendo should use SSB to relaunch more IP's like they're doing with Kid Icarus. Earthbound please.
Yeah, Joystiq was out of line with the crap they put in that review, it was an irrational and unfair hate fest. Tit for tat is kind of petty, but I don't blame them.
Honestly, there really isn't a whole lot more that can be done with this genre until we get something more like virtual reality. The FPS is very one dimensional, and it's been done to death this generation.
I didn't see a release date. Did anyone catch it? I suppose we can assume some time in August?
Yeah, sounds like there's some Developer envy going on. SSF4 is a damned good handheld fighting game. Nothing before it on handheld has even come close.
The gameplay on ToS is already a little bit dated within the Tales series, but the story, side quests, and most importantly the fun and believable characterization are things that all RPG developers should look at. It was a great and amazing game. I play it to this day for an 'RPG fix' now and then. Too bad they chose to do Abyss for 3DS. That's also a good game, but I'd much rather have Symphonia.
Why wouldn't it? This isn't 2007/2008...
'Tales' Music tends to be pretty damned good.
I watch movies on my PS3 and I have the original 60 gig with backwards compatibility. I recently replayed Tales of the Abyss on it. There's no way I'd trade it in. People need to stop panicking. I can see going in and buying another console that you don't have while you wait. You probably should have done that already anyway. You've been missing out. But trade it in because the online service is having issues? Talk about 1 dimensional gamers...
To be completely honest, when I heard this morning that there is no online, I was irritated. I just don't know why they do this...
Actually if you sit in a rotating chair, (you know, probably like the one at your computer?) gyroscope rotation in these games works well with 3D and is fun. Perhaps Nintendo should recommend it though?
I love this game. I can go play it now on several platforms and I do at least once a year. I'm not buying it anymore though until it's either a new entry into the series that is a sequel or is extremely faithful to the spirit of the original, or it's a thorough remake/update that also stays true as it adds new quests and whatnot.
America now please. :)
About time.
I've played few R.P.G.'s as many times as I've played this one, and I honestly can't say that I've played a better one.
