A review event is a controlled setting. Controlled by Activision. Reviewing the game independently allows for the reviewer to have an experience much more like a gamer at home will. If there are Activision employees standing around, spinning negative reactions into positives, and directing the show as to when what portions of the game will be played and for how long etc. it's tainted. Period. That isn't to say we can't get a decent review out of that setting, but Activision is ske...
"No data is ever sent back to Microsoft. Period. Full stop."
Followed later by:
"In some cases it will take some depth data but that depth data will be in a way we can't tell facial features or living room features."
Obviously the initial comfort statement he made was a lie. The question now is, to what extent is he lying?
is that there hasn't been much interesting Wii coverage. Title of this one aside, it's a breath of fresh air.
Golden.
were their names.
sounds promising. You'd think we'd be fleeing already. But they just might be able to pull it off since it's only 20 minutes, it's based directly on the original games, and Jaleel White is back voicing Sonic. Sweet.
your Call of Duty games without a thumbstick? Might want to thank Nintendo for that one. You're not 'Hardcore' you're just limited. Oh, and you've got a lot of nerve saying that Nintendo is for children and hating it for being so, when you've acted like a child here with your shallow, unfounded hate, and multiple N4G accounts. If you really do have a wife (which I seriously doubt), then she must hate that she has to finish raising you...
This looks absolutely great.
it connects. I use it just as much to watch movies as I do games, and I would assume that this is the same for many people. This connectivity doesn't necessarily mean PS3 gamers play games more (thought it could be the case), but what is being said. The PS3 is the #1 connected home console.
The more plausible scenario I think is that they don't want pictures or footage out there of the graphical issues people have been upset about the last few days, because they think that if they silence it early, the bulk of the 15 million people or so who buy this game won't hear anything about it.
that considering the specs, and the cost of those components, the price is high. Who cares if there's nothing 'better' on the market yet? Just because Fillet Mignon isn't yet available doesn't mean you should have to pay Fillet Mignon prices for a T-bone.
you can watch TV channels on it then of course the price is fair. But if it's only movies that you buy, the two shouldn't be compared at all. The 3DS is an impressive gaming device, built with less impressive tech than the PS3 and Xbox 360, which sell for a comparable price and make profit. You have to call it what it is. Taking advantage of consumer excitement, and milking of early adopters.
smoker.
$250 is steep. So people will be justified in complaining. I'm not saying it isn't 'worth it'. But for all of that talk about affordable Nintendo made, it ain't cheap. It doesn't make a lot of sense to compare it to a 3D TV either because not only is the screen tiny, you can't watch TV on the thing. I'll buy it if it's $250, but not only will it leave a bad feeling with me about Nintendo, I won't be able to buy as many games as I'd like. $250 = 3DS ...
that in 3D. I can't wait.
how in the world did GTA4 get left out? If that game came out today, not even half of the people who bought it then would buy it now.
lol
are a group of elements (the ones on the title picture) usually grouped together because of their similarities, relative rarity, and difficulty to mine. Those in question here are those which go into creating LCD screens, which are a major feature of the 3DS, and those that enhance lithium ion batteries, such as the type Nintendo is probably using.
Activision apologists. Regardless of the topic. They're a big corporation, some things they say, how they say them, and many things they do rub people the wrong way. They don't need fanboys to play the role of apologist for them. It only fuels the fire.
