Just the other day my brother in law streamed an anime he had saved on his phone to my PS3 and we watched it on my TV. Extremely sweet.
Yeah, people either don't seem to understand this, or they are just looking for a reason to express hate for the advantage that Mario gives Nintendo.
Can't have too many or it will be too strange. I'd be very happy with just Lloyd. Please no Pacman...
Nintendo is working on a 3D Mario game for Wii U? Wow. Ya think?
Mario to Nintendo is 'Mr. Video Game'. He's the character that they use as ambassador for as many genres as possible because he's a game avatar that people love. Mario Party 9, Mario/Sonic Olympics, NSMB, and Paper Mario are all different genres. Mario is simply the face on those games because it works. So saying 'this year there will be 6 Mario games' isn't inaccurate, but it's ill informed/misleading. Sony and MS would kill for a character that they could use...
Funny how many of the people complaining about there being no difference between releasing these games on console or handheld, and that one per system is two much aren't even Nintendo gamers. Does everyone who owns a 3DS intend to buy a Wii U? Even if they do, do they want a 2D Mario for both? It's all about preference and options. Just because one person may like the 3DS game doesn't mean that they also enjoy playing on the TV, or vice versa.
That being said, per...
Give me Ness, Lucas, and Ike and I'm good. If I could only have one of the 3 moving forward? Ness. All originals should stay with the series for however long it runs imo.
I'd love to have DLC in a 'Land of the Giants' or something like that, where the Giants ranged in size from those in the regular game, to absolutely massive. But hey, I'm sure there will be lots of different DLC add-ons for this game. Dawnguard is better than decent, and while I'll likely skip the Draugr one, I'm sure there will be something else that appeals to me sooner or later. For now I'm really enjoying my Dragon Bone sword and arrows. :D
If that's been said for certain outside of rumor, I don't know. The EIC of GameTrailers has said though that the Wii U version of AC3 looks the best of the 3.

Definitely the idea was derived from that game. The developers said so. Makes some real life sense though on Zombi U in that each character only gets one life, and can leave critical information behind for those who come after they do. It really has a feel of, 'I wonder if that guy who left this note is still alive?' Whereas in Demons/Dark Souls it's more like, 'Thanks online friend!'
The Earthbound question at the end was the most entertaining (and hope filled) part of what was a very good interview. Props.
What you say is true. However, games like NSMB sell a lot after the respective console has reached a heavy saturation point. Both more serious and less serious gamers support it. However, more serious gamers tend to prefer the more complex 3D Mario games, and would fork out the cash to buy a new console at launch for one.
Less serious gamers aren't buying a new console until the price is either lowered, or there is a new game that is so compelling, they can't help th...
While it's true that there appears to be a big focus on the new forms of the legendary Pokemon that many people find to be boring and annoying, this game I believe is part of Nintendo's response to gamers who want more Nintendo RPG's. Black and White was a bit more story oriented, and Black and White 2 looks to be also.
The battle system has its deep core and will be tweaked here and there. But unless we're happy with constant remakes of older versions and a c...
They're insane if they release it at that price. Too expensive in today's economy for a number of gamers to buy it that is positive, and there is still as of yet, no 'MUST HAVE' (in the minds of millions of gamers) game on the console that can't be had elsewhere. They release it at $400, they'll be making the 3DS mistake all over again.
Even if ever it dies, which I doubt it will, the instant there's a dedicated Pokemon one from Nintendo, there will be an instantaneous resurrection.
I have a genuine interest in the console also, so what's YOUR point? I'm not going to act like Nintendo's crap doesn't stink though. I have some concerns and some questions that I want answered, and I understand and respect that others do as well. If they can do no wrong in your eyes, or for whatever reason, you are content and satisfied with the tiny amount of information you have about the console then good for you. Doesn't make much sense to me though.
I don't think anyone expects a new Zelda to be ready yet. But for one, a lot of people couldn't enjoy that game as much due to the control scheme, and secondly a prioritization of getting another one out sooner (as in not another half decade) would be nice. It's on Nintendo to convince people that they should buy another expensive machine.
As for DK? I for one would much rather have another one than another Mario platformer RIGHT NOW. Mario is reaching a saturati...
The bottom line with how and why Nintendo is all over the place with inadequacies surrounding the Wii U? They thought the Wii train was going to take them further into the future than it did. People who LOVE games and play lots of different types of games warned them. But they let it ride until suddenly the road got bumpy and then disappeared.
Instead of having their next console ready, and the plans regarding it prepared and geared toward a post Wii market, Nintendo is fumbl...
By the way, the 'Shinkara' thing is a little bit cheesy, but cool enough since I appreciate that you're trying to do something different. Good job. I'll be waiting on the next episode.
Freakazoid, the bottom line reasons why the 64 and GC didn't sell as well are:
1. The 64 was delayed for a year beyond when they initially said it would be released. Many people moved on to what was available and kick ass. As a result of the N64's late release, it also pushed the GC release back to a point where the PS2 with the hot DVD tech at the time, got a huge head start in the minds and homes of consumers. Keep in mind, this was before it was conceivable for mos...
