Because the graphics for this game are being brought up in order to try and show a difference in capability, while the game in question isn't anywhere near truly representative of either. Is it that hard to understand or are you just being a douche?
By the way, nothing on Vita looks even 5 x better than Revelations, let alone 9000. Grow up.
No kidding klecser, obviously beautiful visuals weren't the priority of the developer here. Of course the Vita is more powerful than the 3DS, but the Vita version of this particular game can't even stand near say for instance Resident Evil 3DS. Both hand helds are on a much higher level graphically than this game displays on their behalf.
Who said he was wrong? Clock speed doesn't = power. If every cycle is 'slower' (He said perhaps not definitely), but much more is being done during each cycle, then Voila! There you have it. Not that hard to figure out. Getting harder to find excuses to hate on, and talk bad about the Wii U though I'd imagine...
Not too many rational individuals here at N4G though. That's the problem. There'd be no reason for this Dev to state the obvious, if the obvious didn't need to be confirmed in order to fly in the face of crap talking knuckleheads, who've made the 'Weaker' and 'Comparable' bullcrap mainstream in certain corners, or should I say bowels of the gaming community. It's as if regardless of reality, the bottom line is their need to indirectly scream: 'Don't...
I don't think they'd care much at all if other fanboys weren't constantly screaming the equivalent of 'OMG! IT SUCKS! DON'T BUY IT! WAIT FOR SONY/MS!' That crap is annoying. The only peace on a Wii U article here at N4G are the good news/non-inflammatory articles, since haters and trolls have nothing to say there. Pathetic.
You guys really don't get it do you? The graphics comment is two fold.
1. We're getting to a point graphically, where MOST PEOPLE (Not life time game enthusiasts like us, developers, industry insiders, and pixel snobs) won't be able to see a meaningful difference when added effort is put into graphics beyond say for instance an Uncharted, etc. It's just not going to matter to them.
2. It's already TOO EXPENSIVE THIS GENERATION to create gr...
Right... For your info (because you're either a relatively new gamer, or willfully ignorant) the Game Cube controller was roughly that shape, which of course was derived from the N64 controller, which of course was derived from the SNES controller.
Now did Nintendo shape this controller in this way in order to attract gamers who prefer a CLASSIC controller design? Yes. Has MS improved on the old Nintendo style controllers some? Yes depending on which features you're t...
'They are building a platform that is effectively a 360 when you think of graphical capability. Now they are really making an on-ramp for the back catalog of games that are on 360. It is easy for those games to move over the Wii U. They’ve moved the buttons around, and they’ve made a controller that feels familiar for 360 gamers, so I get why they are putting those pieces together.'
Every group of gaming fanboys does this. It's annoying and pathetic all the way around. Quick example: a Wii U article can't even make the front page here at N4G unless it's combative or insulting, and has trouble even getting approved. A legitimate interview about the console with a top Nintendo executive? Doesn't even tend to make the front page, and gets few comments because everyone is either trolling and/or crap talking on the combative articles, or arguing with trolls. ...
Funny how Wii U news like this gets no love. The only way to have a real chance of making the front page is to be a suggestively insulting, or combative article, with an even more insulting or combative title. A bunch of retards on here at N4G, trying to downplay and turn people away from what is likely to be a very fun and capable console. Pathetic.
He told quite a bit of tough truth there. However, the bottom line remains that a gaming PC that is as much better than the consoles as he's talking about costs as much as or more than PS3, 360, and Wii combined. If I had to choose, I'd take the exclusives and multiplatform games of those 3 over PC. Any day. By Far.
I have little to no interest in those items, and I have no interest in trying to pedal them to someone else like a flea market vendor for some tiny amount of money either. On the other hand, having a game that I've always loved on my Wii makes it personally more valuable to me. It also gives me a way to play this classic game without hooking up my old N64. To each his own right?
Bottom line? These gifts from Nintendo, even the games are small gestures of good will. Even ...
Developers/publishers wouldn't (and never have) had a problem with taking a game to a friends house to play. It's most often very beneficial to them. However, since there is now such a large market for reselling games, the days where we CAN take a game to a friends house may be numbered. The problem being that allowing a game to be played on multiple consoles now leaves them open to the GameStop business model, which cuts into their ability to make profit off of the product that they ...
lol @ all of this attempted GameStop justification, when the bottom line is that regardless of how much they buy a game for, sell a game for, or how much profit they make off of a used game, they are re-selling a product that they didn't make or buy from the creator/developer/manufacturer for more profit per disc than the creator/developer/manufacturer gets.
'Boo hoo! Sometimes they don't sell those games for months, or years!'
Nice.

I love the mood and atmosphere they have on this game. So creepy and tense.

This is the only game for Wii U that I'm currently REALLY excited for.

Right, but Spencer knows exactly what the Wii U specs are? lol @ Fanboyish ambiguity.
