I love these games but am very tired of being crapped on by NamcoBandai with the perpetual doubt that a game will be released outside of Japan, and if/when they do, it's two years later. It's very frustrating and I'm sick of it.
3D may not be all that, but it's a great option for those who like it. The price on that particular TV is excellent.
Skill with a 2 edged sword prevents the user from being harmed by it, as well as deal versatile and serious blows to opponents. Time will tell how skilled Nintendo is on this.
Is it even possible to make a 'Proper' Zelda movie? Probably best to just leave it alone. Give me a more realistic looking Zelda game on Wii U, and I'll be just fine. :D
I hear you, but if the game pad is a step in the right direction, and the (relative lack of) power of the machine is the main issue against it, then how exactly could Nintendo have done more without the machine being absurdly unaffordable? Ya know?
A lot of people believe that the CPU in the Wii U is 'weaker/less capable' than current gen consoles. In reality, Nintendo is using the same idea as the Wii and the Game Cube before it. Efficiency. On paper the original Xbox was something along the lines of 35% or so more powerful than the GC in raw Megahertz. The person writing this acts as if there was ever an expectation for anything different. Not only is Nintendo against region free gaming, they've explained more or less that it is because of how they have continent specific divisions who all are accountable for sales, etc.
If each line of products within Sony operated autonomously, then sure, the Playstation wouldn't suffer due to TV's being too expensive, but at the same time, they couldn't afford to sell the product at a loss for the first few years. "Wii U naysayers" are the type of people who more often than not, never intended to give the console the time of day anyway and/or want to convince people to wait for their favorite company's as of yet unannounced upcoming console so that they can do their part helping them 'win'. When I pre-ordered mine I was asked if I wanted to get two so that I could sell the extra one. Annoying. I understand that under some circumstances this can be a good thing, but for the most part, I hate that crap. I don't ever again want to see any console being sold online for exorbitant prices by greedy people who buy extras.
No matter how powerful the other 'Next Gen' consoles end up being, if they are anywhere near affordable, such a game wouldn't make any huge leaps aesthetically. The Wii U does though, offer a controller method that will likely enhance the gameplay of this series to a pleasing extent.

Exactly. Why are people pretending as if Nintendo 'stole' this from their ability to play it when the reality is, without Nintendo, this series would be done. It's sickening. I can't tell if these people are willingly ignorant, or just haters beyond reason. Probably both.
So the Wii U with one of the most solid launch lineups ever doesn't have enough for maybe a year or two, but by then the other consoles will be releasing and you will buy those regardless of what games will be available? Why even pretend that you ever intend to get a Wii U? You guys are like a broken record. The same base line of: 'The Wii U is just not quite enough, but I wish it was. Don't buy it people. 'Many core gamers will ignore the Wii U', and many will buy it and enjoy it. Same with any decent console.
Console war? Can we please not go there again people? The only people who win are the people who own every console and can afford to play all of the games that interest them. Everyone else is simply making excuses for their choice not to buy, or the circumstances that don't allow them to buy the others.
For one, they probably never intended to even try to make a 'superior' version. Secondly, they probably received a dev kit long after this game went into development, which pretty much destined it to be a port of one of the other versions at base.
