2037? I'm kidding, hopefully it won't be nearly that long.
You mean an early 2000s game, as that's what the first two games were? Ok, if you really want to be pedantic, the first game did come out on December 29, 1999 in Japan, so it's technically a 90s game, but barely, and we didn't get it until late the following year here in NA and the sequel is definitely an early 2000s game no matter how you cut it.
Clearly you haven't been annoyed by all the Stadia adds before Youtube vids. Of course it may just be that I have a bad Youtube binging habit. But, you're probably right that they hardly marketed outside of the internet demographic. And yeah, they sure make Sony look like they were committed to the Vita by comparison.
I wouldn’t say it’s a problem of being too old-fashioned, because I’m sure as heck open to change, so long as it’s the right change. No, the core of the formula doesn’t need to change, but fun additions have been great in the past.
Restrictions that weren’t present in past games are never a good thing regardless of the series and they’re not great here. A current-gen and first mainline console Pokémon game should have been better, especially at the full console new...
The future is what the consumer decides. Corporations can’t tell us what we want. If they want us to see things their way they need to convince us, which is a tall order as I sure as heck have no interest in game streaming. One thing I can say for sure though, is that a turd like the Stadia is not the product to convince the market to embrace that.
Looks like? Lulz. It is a monumental flop. I hope Google lost a lot of money on this with all the arrogance they displayed.
Good, I love the DS4. About the only thing I’d change is the charging port/cable end so the thing actually stays in the controller. It’s the one aggravating thing. I suppose I’ve managed sufficiently with a Biogenic cable and just getting accustomed to holding the controller in the right position while charging, but I do miss how well the cable stayed in the DS3 (length was the issue with that instead).
They love the Chinese regime, not the average person of China. I’m pretty sure they’re only actually loyal to money, but the Chinese fascists clearly pay well.
Call me old fashioned, but I prefer my games and systems to be playable 100% of the time. I just don’t see the point otherwise.
Yeah, Google clearly had their head in the cloud. *Crickets* In all seriousness though, they clearly didn't do their research before pushing their product and down on Earth, for something to sell it needs to be appealing to the market. They can throw around all the terms they want and advertise their product as "the future", but a product that no one wants is not the pioneer such a future needs to become a remotely feasible reality.
There were holes in MS's strategy with the 360. They had a year head start, but they focused heavily on the short term. They paid off companies for exclusive DLC or timed exclusivity on games and DLC, but they didn't really focus a lot on securing studios, and the ones they had they didn't exactly put in the money to keep them firing on all cylinders.
That strategy paid off in the short term as for at least a few years the 360 was the system to have, but event...
If people have common sense, they won’t be able to even fill a small stadium with the number of Stadia purchasers.
Taking money from commie fascists is innovative?
You’re already playing PS5/Scarlett exclusives? Wow, you must be a time traveler.
I have yet to play it either, but I’d like to at some point. About the only thing we can universally agree is a waste of time/money is Stadia. Otherwise, attempting to speak for everyone is presumptuous at best.
That's because it is a joke. Who even wants this thing?
Sorry Google, but it seems people are more interested in "old fashioned" systems than your pile of trash. You can use whatever terms you want, even ridiculous ones like "negative latency", but you sure as heck cannot sell something to people if they don't want it. Maybe you should have done more research on how to make people want a Stadia.
Yeah...I really don't know who this thing is supposed to be for. Not me, that's for sure.
At least with digital downloads the games are saved on your system and can be accessed at any time, internet or no internet. The only issue is if something happens and you need to re-download your game or download it to another system, you may be out of luck if it’s not still accessible in that manner. With streaming your games literally won’t work period unless you’re connected to the service they’re on.
I’ll deal with it alright. I’ll refrain from supporting it. I’m stocking up on my backlog for a future where it’s the only option as that’s when I’ll make my exit and become a retro gamer.
Well, if one man can make the Back to Nature sequel everyone wanted but Marvelous refused to give us, then I have high hopes that these other games will be the great Pokemon games that Game Freak refuses to give us. Of course, I also cling to a hope that they will inspire Game Freak to do better with later entries. It may be a fool's hope but I'm going to cling to it anyways. At the very least, even great franchises can do with some competition.
