Pokémon: Now with 60% less Pokémon! I’d be willing to forgive this but apparently the creator says there are no plans to include the full dex in later games either, and on top of that we’re expected to pay twice what previous games cost at launch? Forget that.
I agree. The latest games could have been more polished with a little more time. I have no doubt that some people worked hard on them, but developer crunch is becoming a real problem.
If those improvements were made without the multitude of sacrifices, perhaps fans would have noticed. Alas, it's much easier to notice what isn't there vs what is. Past entries added things without taking too much away, if anything. That's the problem people are having with the latest titles.
😂😂😂
I agree with this. These new games sound decent enough when compared to a lot of other games but just don’t stack up as Pokémon games.
Perhaps “intelligent” folk who use terms like “woof” find it positively resplendent.
Maybe not but hopefully it will never be our only option. That’s why the Stadia had to fail. Well, that and it’s not very good.
I tend to stagger my games as well. Sometimes I want a long game that can keep me occupied for a good while, but after climbing to the summit of that mountain, I'm usually less inclined to immediately climb another, instead often opting for something on the shorter side as a bit of a respite before deciding which behemoth to tackle next.
I don't just do that with length either, as I also often seek a different kind of experience after completing a large game. If...
For me price and replayability factor heavily in whether I would classify a game as having adequate value for the cost. I do agree that there is a difference between "fat" and proper content though. That said, I don't think I'd pay $80CAD for a game that's only a few hours or so in length with little to no replay value, so there does need to be enough there to justify the cost. I don't normally buy games at launch mind you unless they're games I'm really a...
Their system is garbage so I guess they figured maybe SJWs would buy it if they pulled a stunt like this. They realize SJWs are in the business of trying to get things banned and censored as opposed to actually supporting products, right? Ok clearly not, and even if that weren't the case I doubt even that crowd would want Google's dungheap.
We just keep getting more and more examples of why this thing is not a worthwhile investment.
It sounds like it’s burning, literally.😂
Why? Millions will buy the PS5 at launch anyways. I know I plan on pre-ordering one as soon as it's available.
I’m assuming it’s referencing Japanese mascot culture, and this would be far from the weirdest example of that, but there’s something about the eyes and expression and the way this one moves when he interacts with the player that I find unsettling.
Gee...most Pokémon games I’ve played have at least one creepy pedo NPC, but this one is quite high on the creepy scale.
Lulz. I for one do agree that more options are better, but that’s precisely why I’d never invest in a system with only one option for game distribution even if it worked as intended and had a reasonably compelling lineup of exclusives. Neither of those things describe this PoS.
That they do. It’s never a good thing when a company realizes they can print money without needing to try half as hard as they did previously.
It's only getting attacked by an annoying vocal minority, and we may as well bold and underline minority as it's clear their opinions don't line up with what most people think of this game.
You mean people expected more from the first mainline Pokemon game on a hybrid console that's also priced 50% higher for each version than previous titles were? Who knew? /s
Even though it's Pokemon fans, and not people who couldn't care less about the franchise, who are vocally criticizing the changes made with the latest entries. Defenders of said entries may as well be saying: "All you Pokemon fanboys are the same. If you were a Pokemon fanboy like me you'd enjoy the latest entries regardless." I'm thankful I don't belong to the Pokemon fandom proper, and just kind of enjoy the games from time to time, as it sounds like it'...
