It seems as though Gamefreak refuses to give us a legit Pokemon game, so let's hope the future is bright with these upcoming titles and that they turn out to be everything promised: https://www.youtube.com/wat...

I like Pokemon and all, but it's held a monopoly far far too long and it's clear that it's going to the heads of the executives at Gamefreak. They clearly don't belie...

Why? You can play these games already if you own another system, and you have ownership of them to boot. What about this lineup makes you want to buy a Stadia?

It’s comforting to those of us who want this trash to fail. If no one has much reason to buy one, they won’t.

Props for staying clear of reviews and forming your own opinion based on your experience.

If you don't have one, yes.

There have been a lot of underrated games released this year. The House in Fata Morgana: Dreams of the Revenants and AI: The Somnium Files released this year too (and clearly flew under this writer's radar), but both are excellent games. I might check out some of the games on this list though. However, I do have to say, there's one thing that seems to be quite underrated in this day and age: list features where everything is on one or two pages!

I’m hoping for that, and the ability to transfer Pokemon from these games to those hypothetical future games, but it seems like a fool’s hope at this point. I think I even read an article saying there are currently no plans to add the complete Pokédex to future titles either.

At least some PS4 and XB1 launch games were exclusives, or at least 8th-gen only titles which mandated getting one of the new systems unveiled at the time. The Stadia’s launch lineup...shows just how pointless this joke of a system is. I can play any of these games on systems I own, and where I can actually own the game. Why should I purchase a Stadia?

Go Google! You brandish those...multiplats...that I can play on systems I currently own...and don’t need to buy your PoS to play. Yay?

This turd is the best of nothing and I hope it flops.

I thought that’s what asexual in this context means. I have a long-distance friend who claims to be that, and that’s what he flat-out told me it means. I thought I was part asexual for a while until I found out I may be something called demisexual, where I am interested in women, but I prefer to get to know them before I try pursuing any kind of relationship with them, which explains why I didn’t stick with online dating for very long. In any case, I don’t think I’d be offended if a piece ...

Lulz. Ok, that's a pretty clever play on words. By that logic I've been to hell three times already, and heck...I spent a good deal of my teen years there with the second game. I think I'm all helled out by this point though and I'm less into the Blizzard who supports commie fascists, so hearing they're going to add MTs to the game isn't helping sell me on it.

I've played many games with silent protagonists that I've absolutely loved. It's somewhat of an antiquated trope, but it works. The Zelda series, the Persona series, GTAIII, Chrono Trigger and many more come to mind and they're all fantastic games, not just from a gameplay standpoint but from a narrative one as well. Ok, GTAIII may not be the best example of a GTA narrative, but my point still stands.

Dude, if you posted this when Uncharted was taking the gaming scene by storm, you would have been crucified by the community. As it stands, you’ll be getting a polite disagreement from me as I still think the Uncharted series updated and refined the better aspects of the Tomb Raider series up to that point, and even with the reboots, I still think it’s the better series from a mechanical and narrative standpoint. But hey, you’re sure as heck entitled to your opinion just as I am to mine.

They’re really determined to make us not want to buy their game, aren’t they?

The shareholders at MS have had difficulty for years figuring out what Sony is doing to help their system move ahead. They need it spelled out for them.

Games. That’s what gaming is and always will be about. A system can have the most power, or the best services, but it’s all worthless if there aren’t enough games to take advantage of any of that. Sony knows this, so they don’t just go all-out with hardware and infrastructure, but software as well.

You can still buy a Switch, but note that Joycons are kind of flimsy and tend to wear out quicker than a typical controller, and they often need to be replaced. That would be less of an issue if one could easily acquire just a left or right Joycon without having to buy a pair, since it's usually a case of just one of them wearing out while the other is just fine. I don't think that should deter you from checking out a Switch, but it is a problem nonetheless.

It doesn't need one, but the way the first game ended does set the stage for a sequel. Life is full of things we don't need, but want.

More importantly, that’s how those games make money. Retail released games on the other hand already have a source of revenue. Crooks in the industry just happened to see the F2P model and figured out that it can be used to double-dip on the consumer’s dime.
