Let's hope not. $80CAD is already pushing it, and few games are worth that to me, so I tend to wait for price drops anyways unless it's a game I really want and can't wait to play (which is usually contingent on me being a big fan of a certain IP). If the price goes up even more I can guarantee that I'll almost never buy a game at launch.
That's incredible, if true. If so, I have two of that CPU in my house, one of which is in a working PS3.
Yeah, here's hoping there will be something in the remake (maybe in the ending epilogue content) that alludes to her fate in the current timeline. At the very least, we will be able to enjoy another great remake.
The possibilities are nearly...infinite. The devs will have to find something as picturesque as the previous locations regardless of what they do, and most of all, it needs to be just as creative. I guess we will have to wait and see what they come up with.
I think Rapture has run its course, but I could be wrong. I think a new location would probably be for the best as Infinite is an indication that there are endless possibilities for the franchise, and I think we got everything we needed to out of the existing locations.
Who's leaping? I'll do what I did this gen. I'll pre-order a PS5 when it's available and pay it off gradually before it releases (which is the real benefit of pre-ordering). When I pick it up I'll also invest in a launch game or two for the novelty of playing something on new hardware, but my PS4 will continue to be my primary system for a while while I wait for the library to build up for the new system.
Then, when things pick up I'll slowly mi...
We should be able to play every Zelda game ever made on the Switch too. That's why I'll never understand why people get so excited about the NES and SNES Online lineups introduced periodically.
Strong concept? At least you acknowledge it's trash, but there's nothing strong about the concept of dumping an inferior product on the consumer and arrogantly assuming people will want it because they talked it up a lot and called it the "future". Well, guess what, it seems the masses will be sticking with those "old fashioned" products because they offer a much better experience.
It runs terribly on iOS too. I stopped playing the game ages ago, for the most part, but I do remember the frequent freezing and crashing. Actually, I did play it a bit recently and I can confidently say...it still has the same issues, and I'm not going back to this game.
What do you expect when a large corporation wakes up, realizes they somehow have the number one brand in the world, and that it can print money even if they put less work into their next product? We also seem to live in an age now where people are content with lower quality products in general, so long as they can still experience some semblance of what made past products great.
If the consumer is ok with it, then of course a corporation has no reason not to cut corners ...
Many people have wanted an official Pokemon MMO for a very long time, but The Pokemon Company and Game Freak refuse to give it to us, so in a way, likely yes. Of course it and other indie efforts will have fewer creatures than even the cut dex, but without planting saplings, there will be no trees, and I think we are in need of more trees right now. I'm looking more for whether other efforts capture the spirit of what makes Pokemon so engaging to so many, and it seems like Temtem has na...
I agree, but you could have picked a better game to illustrate your point. I actually didn't think SM was all bad, but it also wasn't nearly as good as it should have been, and it was a poor re-imagining of a vastly superior game. It had some interesting ideas, and that ending man...but, it just didn't execute most of its ideas very well. From a gameplay standpoint it was a bland romp through a lifeless world that I was in no hurry to revisit.
That's good at least. We'll be paying to have more content, not less. Of course if this version of the game is compatible with the DLC for the original, why can't the new content also be released as DLC so those of us who own the original version don't have to fork over for a new one? I'm a sucker who will do so anyways, but I am curious to know.
Nothing is for everyone. That’s not how subjective enjoyment of media works. What matters is whether it resonates with a lot of people, and how much it resonates with those people. DS seems to be a success on those fronts.
Well, if this is anything like the Princess Maker game previously released on Steam, I look forward to screwing up a young girl's life despite my best intentions. It doesn't help that the game literally requires you to work her to cover the cost of raising her, which brings into question how much you yourself are actually doing in that sense, other than dictating her entire schedule while you sit back and presumably just watch.
Not partnering with the other companies was the best decision Sony ever could have made, if the sales records various PlayStations have set over the years are any indication.
@NonPartisanGamer Agreed, but Pokemon fans get super sensitive about any implication that a Pokemon game could be less than perfect so I've started phrasing things a little nicer. Fans of something don't generally rip into it unless there's a very good reason. It's the non-fans who review bomb to troll.
Virtual Console all the way, and it's pathetic that it still hasn't been rolled out on the Switch! We had access to way more games from way more systems and they were downloaded for indefinite access.
Why not? Debating whether someone who's never played his other games that are unaffiliated with this one should check it out is like debating whether someone who's never watched a film by a particular director or a book by a particular author should check out his/her latest work. If you're debating whether to jump into the middle of a series that's a different matter entirely, but I don't think potentially missing out on an Easter Egg or two is a good enough reason to no...
That's exactly why I normally wait. I'm most likely going to backlog a game I buy anyways, and paying the launch price is really just for the pleasure of having the game as soon as it comes out; a benefit which is completely nullified if I shelve the game. I can save money if I just buy the game later. The only exception is Nintendo and their crooked refusal to drop the price of their games like everyone else. I just resolve that by rarely buying first party Nintendo games or wait...
