This author dropped the ball before people got some sense and ignored this article.
Eventually, but it's 2018 not 2020 so hold your horses. People need to chill with these PS5 articles.
Funny, I could have sworn the new God of War game has been quite profitable. There's plenty of room for both singleplayer and multiplayer in this industry. Companies who say otherwise have a poor grasp of what makes for a solid singleplayer experience that people want to buy.
I'm sure the Minish Cap would do ok on the Switch, but Nintendo hates money so that's not happening. I think for the most part every Zelda game besides the CDi ones has been appreciated to an extent. The handheld ones seem to be more likely to be underrated by Zelda standards, such as my beloved Oracle games, but their reception is generally good with most of those who have played them proclaiming fondness. I've personally never played a Zelda game I didn't love while I was...
They have to be cooking something else up that they plan to announce at E3. They can't hate money that much, can they?
I don't actually own a Switch yet and have been holding out for VC, so this is definitely affecting my plan to buy one. I will wait for E3 though as although Nintendo is ditching the VC brand, they must have some plan for their classic games beyond just streaming (which I have no interest in). They can't be so dumb as to ignore all the profit they could be making off classic games. I'll give them a chance to redeem themselves anyways, and I'm hoping they won't disappoin...
And we're pushing forward with not buying your games EA.
The reason why they're not doing so well is because MS isn't using them. If MS actually used some of them for a change they might actually have something.
I've been holding out for VC to buy a Switch. Looks like I'll have to hold off until they change their mind.
MS needs to bring their A game this E3 as they're on track to lose out to even Nintendo. They will have their work cut out for them however. I think this is a very important E3 for them, moreso than it is for the competition. Sony will still have the upper hand regardless of how this year's E3 goes for them and I don't think it will make or break the Switch either, though I'm expecting a good lineup from both of them this year regardless. MS on the other hand has the oppor...
Um...no, they're not. Singleplayer campaigns in multiplayer-centric titles may get phased out, but singleplayer gaming does not begin and end with CoD campaigns. There are too many successful singleplayer games to list from the past few years alone. Try again.
Good PR is important, and Xbox has that in spades, but all the PR in the world can only spin the truth so far. The XB1 is trailing in exclusives, has been for quite some time, and people are noticing. They can try and spin that all they want but there comes a point where that becomes fruitless...and I think we crossed that bridge ages ago.
Successful consoles require games period and MS needs to realize that fact quickly. In the short term I don't think MS should be focused on Japan though. They have their work cut out for them in securing sales in that region and I'm not saying they should give up, but right now their base in the US is diminishing. If they want to stay in the console game (which may or may not be the case), they should try and re-establish their position in their home turf first and proceed from the...
I don't think this will hurt sales of the Genesis Mini as those who want a retro-inspired plug-and-play with a Genesis controller will be interested in that regardless of this collection. I think a Switch port would be an excellent idea and I'm surprised it's not happening too, but how is the Switch the only place this collection needs to be? Are you saying PS4 owners shouldn't have access to a Genesis collection of epic proportions? Also, it's a different collection as...
Call it whatever you want, but that's quite a spin on the fact that MS clearly aren't trying when it comes to exclusives, which is where it counts. They can release fancy hardware and double down on services, but if the games aren't there, it's just a glorified multiplat machine that costs more than that other system that actually has exclusives, or that other other system which also has exclusives.
Easy, Nintendo needs time to roll one out. It's better if they take their time and make a quality product than just rush one out because fans are impatient.
It really grinds my gears when people call remasters remakes. Heck, some companies call their remasters remakes which just adds to the confusion. If these people had working brains though, they would realize that they don't call upscaled BluRay re-releases remakes and can easily tell the difference between say, a re-release of a classic Disney film and a live action remake. The same logic applies to games people!
I'm amused that this isn't vapourware, but development hell has a terrible track record when it comes to comparing the ratio of games that amazingly live up to all those years of hype to those that...don't. Oh well, I'll hold off until it actually releases to make my judgment.
Maybe so, but I personally invest in game consoles for games. Call me old fashioned.
MGS4 tied up the current MGS timeline, hence why there's so much focus on the previous Snake right now. Well, that and Konami are wanting to milk a cash cow for what they can get out of it, in spite of Kojima being quite clear he had finished the series he wanted to write. Even now that he's no longer with them, I wouldn't be surprised if Konami continues the series anyways.
I think MGS3 is my favourite in the series, but overall I prefer the Solid Snake tim...
