I've avoided most gameplay vids, and even stuff about the villains, so no problem here. I want to go in as blind as possible.
Yeah, and impractical outfits are nothing if you've seen some of the more out there stuff that Japan produces. Granted, the most high-brow stuff never officially leaves their country, so in those cases there's little reason for them to care what we think. They definitely tone things down for stuff that is planned for overseas localization, and even then there are still sometimes instances of censorship for Western audiences to this day.
I prefer when pre-orders are handled this way. That way, no one misses out on content, but the incentive is there as a free or early extra for those who do put money down before the game releases. In this case, the incentive looks to be access to the suits from the start as opposed to unlocking them. I'm assuming the extra story missions DLC will also be available to everyone, although it may cost a little money for those who didn't pre-order a deluxe edition.
The answer is the same as always: PS4. If you have to ask who has the upper hand at any point in time, you must not be following the industry that closely. The Switch will also likely do fairly well, with the XB1 bringing up the rear.
Ha! As if Bethesda would ignore the system with the largest userbase, and therefore the most potential revenue, over something so petty. They can make idle threats all they want, but they need to let their financial advisors go if that's what they advise.
@SegaGamer Yes, like 99% of my PC software is on Steam. I have a GoG account that I've barely used, but I prefer to keep all my games in one place, hence why I haven't branched out and tried the plethora of other services. I'd also add that I fear the possibility that the end of Steam would mean the end of the client, and therefore, the end of access to my games. Thankfully, the title of this article is clickbait and I don't think Steam is going away anytime soon.
And I reserve the right to not sign up for any of those services.
China doesn't, and never has, and you do not have to be a leftist to see that. I don't believe communism is remotely viable, because communism is about equality for everyone. No one should have more power, wealth or social standing than anyone else or you don't actually have communism. As it stands, every documented attempt at communism has at the very least had someone above the system to enforce it. In China's case, their country has more billionaires than any other coun...
Neat.
Dire for Bethesda maybe. Not for Sony. Bethesda would be fools to skip the system with the highest user base anyways.
@ the disagrees: I didn't think it was possible to disagree with the objective truth. Does no one believe in the First Amendment? That's surprising. Oh well, I firmly believe in your right to despise freedom of expression. Just note you don't really believe in it if you don't believe that people should be allowed to say things you disagree with, whether in speech, writing or art.
Freedom of expression is neither a liberal nor a conservative value. Actually, I hear more identity politics being spouted from the right, and this is coming from someone who's more or less politically neutral and is annoyed by both sides right now. In any case, as someone who actually believes in freedom of expression, I believe that artists should be free to express their views regardless of their political leanings or any other opinions they may hold, as that is the actual definition...
It seems this guy's first mistake was using Origin, a service run by EA, one of the most corrupt companies in the industry right now. That said, EA's incompetence here clearly illustrates a major problem in the all-digital future they envision.
I try not to double RPG, but I will often have a main game going while playing something more simple alongside it. I give more focus to what I consider the main game, but sometimes I feel the need to have another game going too. In my experience, playing two heavy hitters at once is generally not the greatest idea, but having a smaller, possibly indie title going alongside a AAA title can and has worked just fine for me.
Good job Nintendo! That actually makes Sony's numbers look even more impressive, but 300 million in home consoles alone is still a commendable milestone.
I'm sorry, but I don't feel bad for Google of all companies.
Apologies, it's back up now.
My stance on this issue is quite simple: it should be up to the devs whether they want to be political or not, and what kind of message they want to put in their games, assuming they want to put one in them. They should not be forced to abstain from making a political statement, but nor should they be forced to. Free speech means that people should be free to say what they wish, and abstain from saying what they don't, and that can manifest itself in many different ways. Games are just...
Who has the discipline to play their backlog in order? Lol. My system is, I go with whatever I feel most enticed to play at a given time. HZD has my interest moreso than Eternal Poison (most people wouldn't know what the latter even is). Also, I have to send my PS2 in to get it repaired, so that whole part of my backlog is off limits for now. More recent games have higher odds of getting played anyways by virtue of being on a system I use regularly as opposed to once in a while. Goo...
RoFL. What? Phil, buying a few studios, one of which was occasionally pumping out XB1 exclusives anyways (and as far as I know is one of few that is), is only part of the battle. You have to actually use those studios to make games, and if you want to stay competitive, you ought to keep using those studios after one game instead of shutting them down or just sitting on them. Sony is on fire, not due to how many studios they own, but because they make frequent use of most if not all of the...
