True dat.
Between this and all the upcoming DLC for the new Spider-Man game, it's a great time to be a PS4 owner.
SotN is in this collection, so it might. I agree with setting aside politics and checking out products that interest you though. We get enough BS politics in actual political discussions, or in response to way too many works of fiction whether it's justified or not (have I mentioned I hate the current political climate?). Having industry politics on top of it all is...not unjustified, but sometimes I get sick of it and just focus on the work, not the hands behind it. Yes, Konami grind...
And have to hope Konami changes their mind, or you'll be waiting for an eternity.
I wonder if this will be a collection of two ports, a port of Dracula X Chronicles for the PSP (which is a remake of Rondo of Blood with the ability to unlock the original, plus a port of SotN with a redub), or another remake? From what footage I've seen, I'm guessing not the latter. Either way, this is great news. Rondo of Blood is criminally underrated IMHO, and SotN is regarded as a classic for a reason.
You have bought some decent studios over the years. “World’s greatest” is pushing it, but I’ll concede they’re not all bad. I fail to see how sitting on said studios, stifling their development, pushing them to release sequels in series that fail to capture what made the originals great, then eventually closing said studios or simply abstaining from so much as acknowledging they exist is allowing them to work independently. Plus, if all of what Greenberg said is true, the Xbox lineup would...
I would but have you seen what those systems go for now? A retro machine isn't worth that, at least not for me. The Switch is the perfect hardware for a VC or similar service, so there's no valid excuse for not having one this late in the game and I'm beyond frustrated with Nintendo over this.
Jaguar CD games might be playable as the system would actually work then. I wouldn't buy it, but that would make more sense than a CDi plug-and-play.
This system has hardcore fans? WTF?
Of course it is. IMHO few games justify the new release price tag, no matter where in the world you are. This is one that does.
Telltale abandoned adventure games years ago in favour of branching stories based on licensed IPs. The genre isn't in decline as they weren't involved with it. I would like if someone bought them out and produced a new Monkey Island or Sam and Max game or something. Actually, I didn't mind the format Telltale pursued in recent years. Perhaps it was in need of being reinvigorated, but if Telltale pursues a buyout the right company could set things right. It sounds like they...
True enough. If biological research was my calling in life, I'd probably pursue that avenue. Alas, it isn't. Those who are in that field and give it their all have my support though.
I wish terminal cancer wasn't a thing, especially with kids, but it's good to know some companies do great things like this. Good on you Bethesda.
Where were these articles when we found out the NES and SNES Minis lack the ability to purchase games on VC? If that criticism applies to the PS1 Classic, it should apply universally to any system that lacks the same feature.
Sweet! I have the original trilogy on the 3DS, but I might consider getting them on the PS4. At the very least this is great news for those who have never played these games before.
What? No!
Thank you. I get chewed out for saying I would prefer VC by Nintendo fanboys, but the fact remains I'd rather have access to a lot more retro titles and be able to purchase them instead of have them tied to a service. I don't personally care about the extra features Nintendo is boasting with the titles on this service and to top it off, the Switch's hardware is perfect for emulating games from a variety of consoles and handhelds and would make for a fantastic legacy system. Dec...
Wow, and I wasn't part of that 3.3 million as I held out for eight long days before caving in and snagging a copy.
Forbes, I'm sorry but your precious Xbox has lost this gen. Your many attempts to bring Sony down aren't working so you should just give it up. Seriously, is harping on the PlayStation Classic going to be the new cross-play debacle? Why can't these sites run proper news or opinion pieces of actual quality?
I'm sure the five people who actually cared about this will be really excited. For the rest of us...meh.
