Personally I like Resistance's multiplayer more than Halo 3's. COD4 is multi-platform, so that only really leaves Gears of War as a bragging point, which will likely be rendered moot come late February when Killzone 2 arrives on the scene.
Man, I like my 360, but I prefer my PS3 for a lot of reasons.
Resident Evil 5 looks really good, but it doesn't look as good as Killzone 2. In technical terms Killzone 2 is doing things no other current game is doing--the lighting engine, physics, animations, and special effects are all a substantial step up from anything seen in any other game.
The PS3 IS the best thing I have ever experienced in gaming.
Best games, best reliability, best graphics, best multi-media features--I have never been so satisfied with a gaming console.
But I guess the media feel they need to keep on hating on the PS3. Pretty irrational if you ask me.
No, they play Tenchu. The only true "ninja" game.
I love Tenchu (also published by From Software), but I have a feeling that this game will be fairly average.
Killzone 2 is pure win.
Oh, believe me, I have seen it on a HDTV and it looks positively jaw-dropping.

I have no good reason to doubt that the 360 is ahead by 8 million units, but I do believe that the PS3 has a very good chance of catching up to the 360 and possibly even surpass it. 2008 was a very good year for the PS3 and 2009 will be even better.
Excellent review. I think he would have come off as a little more professional if he would have avoided simplistic comparisons with Gears of War 2, but all in all I think it was well written and it is nice to see another top score for Killzone 2.

I agree, Kleptic. The top shooters are all very different, but I think Killzone 2 is going to surprise some people. It isn't Halo, but then that is probably a good thing: Killzone 2 is a lot better than Halo 3.
I prefer my PS3 to my 360, but this is just ridiculous. The EU themselves are nothing but anti-free market, anti-competition bureaucrats that want to manipulate the market for their own purposes. Screw the EU.

I like both consoles, but I think the PS3 is going to have a better year. You can't beat the lineup the PS3 has for 2009.
I don't hate the Xbox 360 as much as you guys do, but that was a great post, callahan09. Personally, I don't like all the negativity in general. It does nothing for gaming.
I agree. The PS3 has done very well considering its price tag. With the lineup of exclusives next year and hopefully a price drop I think the PS3 has a good chance of outselling the Xbox 360. At the very least, I think the two consoles will stay neck and neck, which is good for gamers.
I really liked RE4 and I am definitely planning on getting RE5, but I have to admit that the control scheme does seem a little bit dated by today's standards. The graphics are nice and I am sure the plot will be interesting. All things said, I am still looking forward to this game.
Oh BTW, anybody who thinks that RE5 looks better than Killzone 2 needs to get their eyes checked. RE5 looks good, but not THAT good.
