I'm a fan of the PS3, but I don't think there is any kind of conspiracy against the PS3. That is ridiculous.

Yep, I've played through both of them and I love Killzone Liberation on the PSP. Definitely one of the best games on PSP. I'm playing through it again before Killzone 2 comes out.
I agree that Microsoft's biggest deficiency is their lack of first and second-party development studios. This results in a better line-up of exclusives for the PS3.

Put it this way, good graphics don't make a game great, but they do make a great game even better. :)
Yeah, it does look awesome. Besides the amazing graphics and gameplay, the thing that impressed me a lot about the beta was the substantial sense of weight and movement of your character. Most first-person shooters feel like you have a floating gun in front of you that is in no way attached to a human body, whereas in KZ2 the different guns have weight and feel like an extension of the realistic movement of your character. On all levels, I love it.
That looks so awesome. After watching a little bit, though, I had to turn it off because I don't want to spoil it for myself. I want the experience to be fresh when I slip that amazing game into my PS3 at the end of February.

Personally, I don't think the difference will ever be "huge". It's true Gears 2 looks only a little better than the first one, but it is also true that based on what we have seen so far Uncharted 2 looks only a little better than Uncharted 1 (Uncharted is my favorite game this generation, BTW).
Developers have told us over and over that the two consoles are much closer in performance than the PS2 and Xbox were, so I am not going to hold my breath expecting vastly bet...

I loved Mass Effect and after Uncharted it was one of my favorite games this gen. I think it looked great--especially the character models and how great they animated in conversations. I think Mass Effect 2 will look awesome as well.
Great post, XboxOZ360. I have both consoles and I love them both. For me it is all about the games. If the game is good, I don't care what console I am playing it on. And the graphics between the two consoles are obviously very close to equal anyway. Certainly far closer than say the PS2 and original Xbox. So, the graphics on either console are perfectly fine and the main thing it comes down to is the gameplay.
I don't understand why he acts like MGS4 looks better than Uncharted. In my opinion, it is the other way around. MGS4 looks great, but Uncharted looks better.
Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 are at the top of my list.
I see. So that really isn't too bad of a score after all, and for all we know that might be one of the lowest scores it receives anyway. I guess we'll see. But ultimately I only use reviews as a basic indication of what to expect, and what really matters in the end is what I think of the game. I have heard you express that idea in the past and I fully agree.
I'm neutral. I love both consoles, but it's easy to see that this site has far more PS3 fans than 360 fans. From my perspective, I notice that if I say something good about the PS3 I get lots of agrees, while if I say something positive about the 360 I get lots of disagrees. I just wish that PS3 fans would also recognize what a great game Gears of War 2 is. I find it hypocritical to complain about 360 fanboys downplaying Killzone 2 when the very same people are guilty of downplaying Gears 2. I think they are both great games and I wish we could stop all of this pointless bickering.
I fully agree that the experience in the vast majority of cases isn't going to be affected. Most multiplatform games play just fine on the PS3 and if a person only owns a PS3 then by all means they should not worry about it and should simply enjoy the games.

I agree that it doesn't mean much, but I am curious to see how the game is reviewed by other game sites and magazines. I am not saying it is going to be bad--in fact, Famitsu's review wasn't bad, it just wasn't as high as I expected (an average or mediocre review score). What I am saying is that I am just not sure about that one. The rest of the games on the list are more of a sure bet to me.

Sorry, I am a fan of both consoles and from my experience multiplatform games do tend to look better on the 360. I'm sorry, but that is the truth. Even recent games like Mirror's Edge, Fallout 3, Call of Duty WAW, Quantum of Solace, EndWar, and Lego Batman I have found looked better on the 360 to one degree or another. 720P is a HD resolution. I thought everybody knew that.
Most people don't have 1080P TVs anyway.
720P is the sweet spot for this generation, in my opinion.
Most games on both consoles are at 720p.
