My best friend is in the beta and I've watched him play it a lot. I think it looks damn good, but not to the ridiculous level people are claiming. Seriously guys, you are hyping this game way too much and that could cause the game to crash and burn. Oh, and my friend is a top-ranked COD4 player and he says that he likes some things about Killzone 2 better, but thinks some other things are better in COD4.

I agree, it's about the gameplay, and the gameplay rocks. I was just pointing out that the graphics are actually pretty decent. At least as good as Resistance, if not better.

To all the haters, just give Left 4 Dead a try. It's really good. And for the people saying it's graphics aren't good, I completely disagree. In many ways it looks just as good or better than Resistance 2. At least Left 4 Dead has real-time lighting compared to the much more simple lighting effects in Resistance 2.

When I compared them on my own hdtv I thought the 360 version looked a lot better. The PS3 version didn't have as good of HDR lighting effects and it had a lot more jaggies. The 360 version was cleaner, had better lighting and a somewhat better frame-rate. But if all you got is a PS3 I would say it isn't too big of a deal. Get the game for whatever system you got, it's really quite cool. If you have both systems get it for the 360 though.
Just another great JRPG for the Xbox 360. It's a timed Xbox 360 exclusive. We don't even know when the PS3 will get this game, which means that it will probably be a while. PS3 owners must sure love "sloppy seconds" because they sure get a lot of them. And half the time even after PS3 owners have waited a year to finally get a game it often turns out looking and performing worse on the PS3. Bioshock comes to mind.

The Xbox 360 is ahead by almost 6 million in overall sales. So, although the PS3 has beaten the 360 in worldwide sales about 6 months this year it carries less than a million console lead for the year so far. The 360 almost certainly sold more consoles in October (we just don't have the official numbers yet) and will likely outsell the PS3 in November and December. I agree. I have both consoles and I find a lot more games I want to play on the 360 than the PS3. Which isn't that surprising given that the 360 has well more than double the amount of games the PS3 has.
Yeah, it's funny how the hardcore PS3 fanboys seem to outnumber the 360 fanboys on nearly every site I frequent (e.g. N4G, Gametrailers, Gamespot, etc.) but there aren't even as many PS3s sold as there are Xbox 360s. I honestly think some of these people don't even own PS3s and are just Playstation fanboys from last generation that dream about how awesome they think the PS3 will be. I have both consoles and while I like both of them I have to admit that I think the Xbox 360 is a better game console at this point in time. The PS3 may catch up eventually but for now the 360 offers a better value. The Xbox 360 has more than twice as many games as the PS3 and also has a greater number of AAA exclusives. Another thing I like better about the 360 is that most of the cross-platform games that I have compared have looked better on the 360.
