Halo 3 wasn't a crappy game. You just showed how biased you are.
People like you are an embarassment to gamers. It honestly seems like you are never happy unless every single PS3 game gets nothing but 10s.
Well but Final Fantasy XIV and DC Universe Online are console exclusives. So for people choosing between a PS3 and a 360 those two games could be a big selling point.

Nice, I like that. It's true though that an animated comic isn't going to be the same as the experience of playing through the game. But it's better than nothing and seems kind of cool.
Sadly I just confirmed it for myself that this version has screen tearing and the frame rate seems jerkier. Bummer. But playing it also reminded me of what a good game it is, so for those that haven't played it please don't let this dissuade you from playing this great game.
I think it looks pretty good, but I have a feeling it is just a poor screenshot. Wait until we see more.

The only thing that worries me is that I have heard some people on another site saying that it has problems with screen tearing and framerate drops. Can anybody confirm or refute this?
Well I played both Dead Space 2 demos and I didn't think there was that big of a difference. The 360 version was just a little sharper and clearer, that's it.

Wow, some people are so lazy. I am all for getting the PS3 version, but making a big deal about switching a disc is really pathetic in my opinion.
Guys it's not that big of a deal. Nothing I have seen so far is that drastic. Slight differences here or there that won't have much impact on the overall experience. The only thing that could possibly be that different is how it performs and we wont know that until some proper analysis is done on both retail copies.
To me though they just look different. I can't really say one looks better than the other.
This is kind of getting annoying. A half an hour later and it is still only at 10%.
Anyway, it is a great demo. I already played the 360 demo and I was thoroughly impressed. The graphics are even better than the first one. There are some cool new weapons and mechanics. I love the new zero-G mechanics, for instance. The story also hints at being deeper than the first one.
I definitely plan to get this at the end of January.
Yeah I played the 360 version too (mainly because I hated the screen tear in the PS3 demo) and I didn't have any problems with it.
I agree with the review, it's a great game that shouldn't be overlooked.
Huh that's funny, I am having the opposite experience. I downloaded the 360 version earlier today and it was very quick, but I am downloading the PS3 demo now and it is going super slow. I started it around 10 minutes ago and it is only at 4%. I figure it must be because of all the traffic the servers might be getting. At this rate I will never get to try out LittleBigPlanet 2 and Mass Effect 2 tonight.
This was an extremely interesting read. It gave more insight into what Naughty Dog is thinking and planning than anything else I have read.
I think ND have been moving more away from monsters with each game. In the second game they were even less supernatural. I know, I know, in the first game there was a rational explanation as well, but in the second game it just seemed like they tried to make them even more human and have a less fantastical explanation. I don't think we will necessarily have "monsters" in Uncharted 3. I am sure they will make the right decisions whatever they do.
Yeah you're right. I kind of forgot Metro 2033. It looked great on the 360 and from what I have seen the PC version looked much better still.
RDR on the 360 did look great. I didnt play the PS3 version so I don't know how that looked, but the 360 version definitely had some impressive visuals.
I have to say that smgamers seems much more ruled by fanboyism than the site they are attacking.
I love my PS3 the most by far, but I am sick of the fanboyism on this site. I am about ready to leave for good and never come back. You guys can have your completely one-sided circle jerk.
