I own both consoles and to be honest both online services have their positives and negatives. However, PSN is free and it does 95% of the most important stuff.
VOD will not overtake Blu-ray by 2017 in the buy-to-own market. VOD will become a very popular alternative to rentals, but there are many reasons that it will not significantly put a dent in the buy-to-own market. Blu-ray will be here for a long, long time.
I am truly blown away by this demo. I thought it would be great, but it's really, really great.
I loved the controls and everything else about the demo. Amazing!
Yeah, it's amazing on all levels.
I'm still dragging around my jaw on the floor.
Yes, that is the motion blur. It looks great in my opinion.
Well, I had the game pre-ordered at Gamestop, but I canceled it. But I have always known for a fact that I was going to buy the game and I still might pre-order it at Amazon. If not, I will just try my luck and buy it the day it comes out.
The point I am trying to make is that there are likely many people out there like me who are going to buy the game day one, but simply haven't pre-ordered it yet.
Then of course there are those gamers that really aren't aware of ...
I own both consoles and I have been playing just as many games on my PS3 as my 360 (actually a little more), so I don't know what you are talking about.
I know. Isn't it amazing.
I certainly enjoyed Uncharted more than Gears or Gears 2.
Get real, Foxgod. What does any of that matter?
Even if the Metascores were the sole measure of quality, so what? Gears of War and Halo 3 are old games that if rated by today's standards would clearly score below Killzone 2.
Besides, all the scores aren't in. Killzone 2 could still end up with a higher score than those two games.
Good review. Also, this score will be added at Metacritic and I believe it will count as a 100. At least that is what they normally do.
No, I believe it translates into a 100 at Metacritic.
Very interesting *rubs chin*...Killzone 2 is impressing people everywhere. Good to hear.
If I could only own one console, it would have to be the PS3.
I agree with you about it having the most games that appeal to me.
Snow, those are some very ignorant comments.
If you post like that all the time, I wonder how in the world you have so many bubbles.
The PS3 has tons of good games and as an owner of both consoles (PM me and I'll give you my gamertag and PSN ID) I can honestly say that I have already purchased more games for my PS3 than my Xbox 360--solely because it has had more games that appeal to me.
If you feel differently and prefer the 360's lineup that's fine, ...
In what world does it make sense to say that Killzone 2 lacks "imagination and innovation"?
The first person cover system has never been done and most certainly counts as innovation. Helghan, the home world of the Helghast, with its hostile climate and dangerous weather is really quite a unique setting. The online multiplayer portion also introduces some new twists.
More than anything though, the presentation by itself is massively innovative. Many thi...
Well, how about if a person has played the beta? That obviously gives some pretty strong indications of what to expect from basic gameplay mechanics, graphics, etc.
I also think that with the nearly unanimous acclaim that has been the reaction to Killzone 2, we can be pretty certain that the game is going to be in the general realm of "GREAT".
How great? I guess we will find out come the end of this month.
Well, you might have a point, but then why do most of my hardcore Halo buddies prefer to play Halo 2?
Many hardcore Halo players still think Halo 2 has a better multi-player component.
I'm not saying that more people are playing Halo 2, because that obviously isn't the case. What I am saying is that many of my friends that are big Halo fans have told me that they prefer Halo 2, but play Halo 3 because that is where most of the players are at now.
It lives up to the hype, so how can it be over-hyped? Doesn't really make sense to me.
