My feelings about this game pretty much echo those above me. I have been playing the Killzone 2 demo for the past two days and it is truly an amazing experience.
This game has so much detail and quality that it constantly reveals new things to you each time you play. I love it and can't wait to get my hands on the full version.
The more I play of the demo the more and more I like it. The beta was that way too. Do any of you feel the same way?
Don't get me wrong, it was awesome from the get-go, but something about the game seems to suck you in more and more the longer you play it. It reveals more and more to you the more you play it.
This game is going to be seriously addicting, I can already tell.
The beta and the campaign demo have both been awesome.
Yeah, this was a nice review. His enthusiasm for Killzone 2 is infectious.
I absolutely loved the demo. It's short, but oh so sweet.
The AI is really something and makes playing through things different each time.
The graphics are amazing.
The guns feel so nice when you fire them.
All in all, I am even more excited for the full game after playing the demo.
I love God of War and can't wait for part 3.
I'm glad I have a subscription to GameInformer.
Truly. The screen tearing in Uncharted was so minor I hardly ever noticed it.
Much less than in, say, Mass Effect for example.
In my opinion the difference isn't that big. If you weren't comparing them side by side you likely wouldn't know the difference. The same goes for most multi-platform games.
Based on those screenshots, the water in Uncharted and Crysis is fairly similar. But I don't understand how you can believe that the water in Fallout 3 compares.
I plan on getting the PSP version, since I don't own a Wii.
Yeah, the graphics are amazing, but the gameplay is even better than I expected.
I also love how your squadmates don't always say the same things every time you play through the demo.
It is indeed amazing.
None of this really matters to me. I have both consoles and will buy whatever looks good to me.
What I know at this point though, is that the PS3's lineup for 2009 looks a lot more appealing than the 360's lineup.
There isn't a single game that has been actually announced for the 360 to come out in 2009 that interests me much.
Alan Wake interests me a lot, but it hasn't been given a release date.
Splinter Cell Conviction interests me, but w...

Uncharted is still the best-looking game on consoles at the moment (that is, until Killzone 2 lands).
Getting a game that looks as good as Uncharted in the first year of the PS3's life I just knew that there was going to be really good things in store--graphically--for the PS3.
The good thing is, if you own a PS3 you get to enjoy both games (Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2). Besides, super graphics are just icing on the cake for these games. Awesome gameplay and other...
Ha, ha...thanks for sharing. That was great.
Well, I'm still trying to pick my jaw up off the floor after playing the Killzone 2 demo for two days, but yes Uncharted 2 will definitely be up there and might even surpass KZ2 in some ways.
Mass Effect is one of my favorite games on the 360 and it would be great if PS3 owners could play the game. In fact, it is one of the few new IPs that are exclusive (so far) to the Xbox 360 that I really care about.
If ME went to the PS3, there would be very few reasons for me to own my Xbox 360. The only other franchises I really care about on the 360 are Gears of War and Tenchu Z (sorry, I know, but I'm a big Tenchu fan).
Anyway, I see lots of reasons for why it ...
I don't know, speed wise they seem about the same to me. I've never actually timed it, but I have noticed that sometimes PSN seems faster and sometimes LIVE seems faster.
Who knows, maybe PSN is slightly faster on average.
Killzone 2 demo is fantastic.
