I wouldn't talk bad about a console millions of people love. You know...cause' karma's a b!tch. Oh wait, you've already been doing that for a long time.
Yes, he cares so little about the PS3 that he spends significant amounts of time trolling PS3 news stories. Sure, makes sense to me.
Not necessarily. I mean, that is true some of the time, but often it is the case that a certain game just appeals to mainstream tastes.
For example, sales of the Wii are totally out of proportion with the degree of advertising that Nintendo has done. It is selling not because it is the best console, nor because Nintendo does the best job of advertising, but because it has caught on and attracted the mainstream. Halo and Gears have partially fallen into that category of attra...
Hey, friend, you need to get your eyes checked.
Fable 2 doesn't look or perform that well. Nice game, but it's no technical marvel.
The PS3 is an amazing console. It has been awesome since I bought it and it has only become better with time.
If I could only own one console this generation, it would be the PS3.
It's true. I own both consoles and I have actually ended up spending more money on my 360 because of the cost of peripherals and the Xbox LIVE service.
In terms of ownership costs the 360 is not cheaper than the PS3. It is the other way around.
I like some of your ideas, but why would you need vehicles on every level? I think vehicles are overused in many shooters.
Well, if the controls are the same as in the beta and demo then I have absolutely no problem with them. In fact, I think they are great.
I meant to post this in the open zone:
The Killzone 2 engine is amazing and obviously I would love to see it utilized in some other games.
To be honest though, as amazing as the engine is, I still don't want to see it overused. I hate it when it seems like every game I play is using the same engine (Unreal engine comes to mind).
A game engine always leaves its indelible mark on any game that uses it and after a while it kind of takes away the freshness o...

Absolutely. Twisted Metal would be a perfect fit for this engine. That would be amazing.
Oh, come on. There are multiplatform games that look about as good as Gears 2--Dark Sector and Assassin's Creed to name a few. Seriously, play those games and tell me they aren't more or less on the same level as Gears.
I have both consoles (PM me and I will gladly give you my PSN ID and gamertag) and I own Gears of War 1 & 2 and have played the Killzone 2 beta and demo. Just for fun the other night I compared Gears 2 to Killzone 2 and there is no doubt whatsoever that Kill...
Good thing Killzone 2 is also a fantastic game. It just happens to be really, really easy on the eyes--which never hurts.

People like you seem to be such poor judges of graphical fidelity. If you look at the technical attributes of both of these games Killzone 2 wins hands down...
Yeah, but is the content on the disc not what was expected? Did they really leave out content that was expected for a game at launch?
No, so where do people get off saying they're milking us? If you don't want it, don't buy it. But don't pretend that what you paid for on disc was somehow anemic or a rip off. Killzone 2 offers a really well-rounded package as it is.
Wait, you just said you bought Dead Space for PS3, so you obviously don't buy ALL your third party games for the 360. Just pointing that out.
Anyway, I bought Dead Space for my PS3 because I downloaded both versions of the demo and I thought the PS3 version looked slightly better and had better movement with the analogue sticks. I can't stand the "dead space" on the 360's analogue sticks--you have to push them much further before they register any movement.

Well, what you are saying might be true, but for me personally even from Nintendo there are few games that are worth playing.
Face it, the Wii doesn't appeal to most core gamers. It just doesn't. It's not our fault and you shouldn't be frustrated with gamers just because they don't really find value in the Wii.
Yes, of course. I am sure they would love to have the market all to themselves.
You're right. Those games still look good to me.
Personally, I'm not even thinking about the next consoles yet. The PS3 is still in its early days anyway.
