Oh come on, Outlaw life. We all know that this game has had publishing issues and that more than anything is likely to blame for the short notice. It's not as if Sony had secured publishing rights to this long ago and just maliciously waited to spring it on us now.
Besides, I think you are really stretching when you try to make it sound like people are going to be suffering because they thought it would be coming out soon and had it pre-ordered. I mean, it obviously isn't an i...
Yeah, I am one of those people who loved Assassin's Creed (despite its flaws) and inFamous seems to have a lot more variety in terms of gameplay and objectives.
I am now eagerly waiting for this game. It really sounds great.
Wow, that sounds great. Thanks for sharing.
I haven't had the chance to play the demo yet, but I have been hearing mostly very positive things about it.
Sucker Punch are indeed very talented developers.
Guys this is no big deal. It's not like it isn't coming for the other platforms.
The thing I think some people don't understand about why many people are annoyed by Microsoft's practice of buying DLC and timed exclusives is not that it is bad in and of itself, it is simply a matter of what it replaces.
As a dual console owner the reason I get annoyed with Microsoft's focus on buying DLC and timed exclusives is that it seems that that money could be better put to use...
I'm just happy to see the PS3 beating the Wii in Japan. The sales of the Wii have thus far been totally out of proportion to how good the console and its games actually are. Both the 360 and the PS3 deserve to be doing better than the Wii in my opinion.
Sounds good.
Those games were slightly better on the 360, but not enough that it should really matter to someone that doesn't own both consoles.
For people like me who own both consoles it's nice to know things like that, even though the difference is usually very slight. However, nowadays the differences are usually slight to the point of virtually being a non-issue (even for a person like me who tends towards being a bit of a graphics whore).
If I got this game I would most l...
I played the first one on my 360 and thought it was fairly mediocre. This one does look more interesting though, so we'll see.
Sure, Hitler. I doubt you have played either game.
Not only was Hitler one of the worst people in history, he also is apparently a mega-fanboy.
People are saying great things about the demo. Prototype might be good as well, who knows? But quit being such a fanboy, it just makes you look silly. Don't you realize that PS3 owners will be able to play both games?
Yeah, I'm hearing great things about it. I can't wait to try it out myself.
CBaoth, thanks for your hands-on impressions. Sounds good. I was always intrigued by this title and if it is even a little bit close to how good Uncharted and Killzone 2 are then it is going to be an awesome game.
Most sandbox games so far haven't interested me because of the setting or story premise, but this game seems different and I know that Sucker Punch are a talented development studio. I can't wait to get my hands on this.
GiantEnemyCrab seems pretty fair these days, so cut him some slack.
Anybody that can set aside their fanboy tendencies and just enjoy a good game, regardless of the console it is on, deserves some credit.
It all depends on how good it is. If a game is good it doesn't need to have multiplayer modes and can still be worth your money.
Uncharted is one of my favorite games this generation and it is a single-player game only and it was worth every penny.
The 360 version edges this one, but the difference is small.
From my experience owning both consoles I would say that the 360 gets slightly better graphics in many multiplat games and the PS3 has the best looking exclusives. So, both consoles excel in certain areas.
It does look good on either platform. I thought the 360 version looked slightly better, but believe me, it is very slight. There might even be some people that prefer the way the PS3 version looks.
Well, I think graphics are definitely one consideration and as a multi-console owner I too like to have that information. However, when the differences is as small as it is here other considerations are likely to be far more important.
Hey guys I have played both versions of the demo and the 360 version does edge out the PS3 version. In either case it is a great game. I really was quite impressed.
I don't agree. Based on the screenshots they look fairly similar, but screenshots are deceiving. When you own both games and can compare them on the same HDTV like I do, it is undeniable that Uncharted is more graphically advanced. Gears has some nice textures and great art direction, but is fairly average in almost every other area.
The problem is most people are very poor judges of the technical differences between games. If one game has real-time lighting and one completel...
As a multilingual person (fluent in English and Spanish, speak some Italian, Portuguese, and Japanese) I have really enjoyed the multi-language options on some PS3 games.
I also know that a lot of non-Japanese otaku like to play their games and watch their anime in the original Japanese.
If the PS3 version has multiple language options and the 360 version doesn't that would push me towards getting the PS3 version.
