Yeah, Firefly is awesome.

Nathan Fillion is a great actor and voice actor. He did a good job in Jade Empire and Halo 3 and I am sure he is great in Halo 3 ODST. I really hope he gets the role of Nathan Drake in the Uncharted movie.

I do like Killzone 2 better than Halo 3, but they are both good games. Let's keep fanboyism out of this ok. Nathan Fillion is a great actor and I am excited for his role in Halo 3 ODST.

I play most of my multiplatform games on the PC anyway. The PS3 excels in the exclusives department.

When I use the PS3 browser it is for one reason: convenience. If I am already on my PS3 and I just want to quickly check the latest news on N4G why would I shut down my PS3 and boot up my PC? It's about convenience.

It's for the same reason facebook and twitter are going to be useful on the 360, it's about convenience. You know, if I was being as dense as you I might say "what good is facebook on the 360 if you can just use it on the PC?"

I own a gamin...

You can buy something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/GAMING-... off ebay, if building it yourself intimidates you, and it will play most games at a higher graphical quality than what you get on the consoles.

Look, I love my PS3 for al...

Ha, ha, exactly.

Actually, you don't really even need the monitor or the speakers, since a lot of people nowadays are hooked up to a 1080P HDTV.

The truth is, you can build or buy a gaming PC for around $400, plug into your HDTV and sound system, and have graphics and performance that put the consoles to shame.

Most of the multiplatform games are available on the PC and usually cost less to boot. Not to mention you get to play all the games that are exclusive to the PC.

PC gaming is alive and well. If people were more aware of all the advantages of PC gaming I think a lot more people would be enjoying it. I like consoles too, but the kind of quality and support you get with PC games is beyond what you can get on the consoles.

I love the Yakuza series and I hope they bring out Yakuza Kenzan and Yakuza 3 over here.

Oh hell yeah, this game blew me away. It was well worth importing, but I am glad that it is getting an official release in English.

Ninja Gaiden is awesome, but I personally think God of War is the best action franchise. Wolverine is pretty good as well. It surprised me with the depth of its fighting engine.

The biggest gap is between the consoles and the PC. The 360 version looks closer to the PS3 version than to the PC version.

6186d ago 1 agree3 disagreeView comment

It is essentially the same game on any of the 3 platforms. If you have to have the multiplayer mode and trophies/achievements then get the PS3 or 360 version. If graphics are your most important criteria get the PC version.

Edit @ Soda popinsky

Funny enough, all that stuff you mentioned can be enjoyed in the PS3 version as well. I know people that owned the PS3 version and were having fun with it before it was reported to look worse than the 360 version. Do you ...

Yep, in terms of visuals the PC version absolutely demolishes the console versions. Sure, it doesn't have the multiplayer mode, but I think there is a good chance we will get that with a patch. It also happens to be $30 cheaper.

On amazon.com
Xbox 360 version = $55.99
PC version = $25.99

Again, lying through your teeth. When I play online Killzone 2 or Warhawk or COD4 more than half the people have mics. Usually around 2/3rds of the people have mics. Then again, lying and distortion is what fanboy extremists like you are good at.

Murderdolls, you're full of it. I own both consoles and there are many reasons to own a PS3. Uncharted is amazing and is one of my personal favorite games, but there are lots of other great games as well.

It's the 360 that feels a little anemic at times in terms of games that can only be played on the 360. I have a PC as well, and the number of good 360 games that are true exclusives are few and far between.

They're both good consoles, although I do prefer the P...

True. But when an HDMI cable costs around $5 and any USB headset can be had for a little over $10, I wouldn't say that is much of an arguing point. I just use my USB headset from my PS2 and it works great. It actually has better sound quality than a lot of the Bluetooth headsets to be honest.

The PS3 still represents a better value for the money.

I have a PS3 and a 360 and for what I need the two services are basically equal. Only one is free.

I seriously don't understand how some people can sit here and pretend that there is some big difference between the two services. There are a few features one has that the other doesn't, but 90% of the core functionality is the same.

I think their operating system will be better. As you pointed out, they do everything else better.

Yeah, Google Chrome is now my preferred browser as well. Like you, I am rooting for the Google Chrome OS. If it is anything like their browser it will be amazing.
