Well, it's simple, it should be in both channels because it is coming out on both platforms.

SOCOM Confrontation was a pretty good game after getting patched. I don't know why some people are hating on it so bad.

Anyway, SOCOM 4 would be awesome. I really hope this is true.

In all honesty, I am almost certain I will get this on the PC. The advantages are just too great to ignore.

BTW, thanks for posting the link to that video, I had never seen it before and it was nice to see how great Alan Wake can look running on a powerful PC rig.

Lay off the crack pipe. The graphics look really good. Just because you are a fan of the PS3 (like I am) doesn't mean you need to deny reality.

This game has been on my radar for quite some time and recently has moved onto my most-wanted list. The only question for me now is, do I get it for my 360 or my PC?

Agreed. Gameplay always trumps graphics. Unfortunately graphics are often the first thing we see about a game and it tends to make us kind of visually fixated as we lead up to the release of a game.

I would always rather play a fun game with average graphics than an average game with great graphics. The best situation though, is if a game has great gameplay AND great graphics. Games like Uncharted, Killzone 2 and Gears of War spring to mind.

The thing is, when a game is on the 360 and the PC it is the very same game and the PC version is usually the superior version. On the other hand, if the PSP gets a game from a PS3 franchise it is going to be a completely unique game that doesn't have nearly the same level of graphical fidelity. ipwnall basically already explained that.

Your line of reasoning was very poor.

To me it just looks like it was an article talking about the future of the PSP and they used a very obvious Uncharted 2 screen grab to say "hey, someday we might be playing something like this on a PSP". Or like someone else said, they were just highlighting the systems video functionality by playing an Uncharted 2 video. Whatever the case may be, I wouldn't take this as any kind of confirmation of an Uncharted game on the PSP.

He took a nice little jab at the PS3 the...

North America is a huge market, but the point still stands that if you look at global sales the PS3 has sold more than the 360 in the same time frame. It clearly has more growth potential and I think we will see huge sales increases when the price is dropped.

The PS3 is still generally selling on par with the 360 despite the 360 being much cheaper. This indicates that the PS3 is a more desired product. When Sony drops the price of the PS3 I have no doubt we will see a significant jump in sales.

Killzone 2 is awesome. By far one of the best shooters I have ever had the pleasure of playing.

In any case, I agree that it is stupid to tattoo the name of a game on your body. But he didn't really do it because he was such a big fan of Killzone 2 but rather because he got a free HDTV and PS3.

I absolutely love Killzone 2, but I wouldn't tattoo any game's name on my body.

Unlike some of the PS3 fans here I really like Valve's games. I mostly play them on the PC, but I think it would be great if PS3-only owners could also get a chance to play them. I really hope that Valve makes some serious efforts in that direction.

PCs are great, but if you are only going to get one console why would you pick the Xbox when so many of its games can be played on the PC with better performance and free online play?

This gen I have a 360, PS3 and gaming PC and if I drop any console it would be the 360 or the next Xbox since so many of its games, from multiplats to "exclusives", can be enjoyed on the superior PC.

The PS3 is worth owning because so many of its games can only be played on th...

Valve make some of the best games around, but they are first and foremost PC games. I don't prefer to play PC games on the consoles. Those games play much better and look much better on the PC. I play consoles for the exclusives unique to the consoles, not to play watered down PC games.

That said, PS3 gamers that don't own a gaming PC are being shafted by Valve and that's too bad. Valve should want to get their games out to as many people as they can. Ignoring the PS3 will ...

The thing is, God of War 2 came out at a time when a lot of people were focused on the new "next-gen" systems.

I think God of War 3 will be a lot like Metal Gear Solid 4 in the sense that it will sell more than its predecessor despite the PS3 having a far smaller user base than the PS2 did.

Edit @ below: yeah, that makes no sense to me. Killzone 2 is one of the best shooters I have ever played.

If you can't enjoy any games on the PS3 it's just because you are a fanboy that won't let yourself enjoy any games on a console you have a grudge against. The PS3 has a ton of great games.

6198d ago 6 agree1 disagreeView comment

No, I'll just continue to enjoy both systems while fanboys like you miss out on some of the best games this generation.

I agree, I have a feeling God of War 3 will be the best selling game in the series.

6198d ago 3 agree3 disagreeView comment

God of War 3 will help sell PS3s. I have a friend who bought his PS3 mainly because of God of War 3 and I have heard a lot of people on the net make similar comments.

Personally, I bought a PS3 for all the great games that I knew would come out on it. The diversity of games Sony platforms offer is probably the strongest in the market. So, I think for most people it isn't about buying a console for one game, it is about seeing a wide diversity of great games and deciding they...
