I would own a PS3 just for Uncharted and Uncharted 2. I love Uncharted that much.
That's not really true. A lot of the people that hate on HHG are 360 fanboys. See HarukoHex below for an example.
It's probably a knockoff. Those things are very common in that part of the world.
It's possibly legit, but not likely in my opinion.
Oh, and I am not fooled by his claim that the PS3 is his favorite console. It is a very typical ploy used by writers when they want to convince people that they aren't biased. "I am doing this out of love, not hate...blah, blah, blah".
The guy is a known "Sony basher", even a self admitted one, what else is he going to say? "I am a 360 fanboy and I hate Sony, and that is why I am writing this article"?
There is, of course, a small pos...

"i criticized the ending of MGS4 and got tore up for it. i say KillZone 2 sucked, which it did in my eyes, and i get 100 disagrees. the game did NOTHING i havent played before. hell i had a moderator in the forums tell me "to go and die" because i said something critical of the Ps3. how lame is that?"
Are you dense, Solar? If people disagree, they disagree. It's no different anywhere. If I go to a site that has a lot of 360 fanboys and sa...
This was a poor article. Not because it was negative towards Sony, but because it was illogical and came off as a hate-filled rant. An impartial journalist would never write an article like this. Calling out PS3 fans for behavior that is in no way unique to them and criticizing Sony for things that are just normal PR speak makes it difficult to take the article seriously.
I can give you a list of things that I think Sony have done wrong, but that doesn't include being arrogant...
That's true, but I am sure there won't be nearly as much time between Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 now that the engine is in place.
I do have to say though that Naughty Dog just amaze me. The amount of extra content that could be unlocked in the first Uncharted and the overall polish to the whole game left me very impressed. The fact that there is essentially no loading from the time you start the game was another feat that just blew me away. Naughty Dog are nothing but quality. ...
The improvements to the lighting and level of detail is striking.
Edit: When you look at his hands or his robe there is more detail there now.
Considering that the first Uncharted is still to this day one of the top 3 best-looking games it is amazing that Naughty Dog are able to make such significant improvements for Uncharted 2.
The fact that all that graphical awesomeness is wrapped around some of the funnest gameplay, endearing characters, amazing environments and an outstanding adventure-filled narrative makes Uncharted 2 one of my most anticipated games ever.
Well, Figboy expressed his views and you called that "crapping on the 360", but then you went on to throw out your opinion that Crackdown was better than Infamous (which I disagree with) and Uncharted looks no better than Gears of War (ridiculous). Should we call that crapping on the PS3?
Everybody knows you favor the 360 and it seems you are being a little too sensitive about what Figboy wrote. I don't see how his post and your post are all that different. And he is...
The difference is, when a multiplat looks better on the 360 it usually requires frame analyzers and other in-depth analysis to realize it. In the real world most people would never know the difference. If fact, you could have both versions of most multiplatform games side by side at an industry event like E3 and most people still wouldn't notice the difference.
It doesn't take any in-depth analysis to see that games like Uncharted and Killzone 2 are extraordinary. You just loo...
Best post in here. You nailed it.
Most people are heavily influenced by marketing and gets sucked in by fads. I agree with Spike47, most consumers don't make informed buying decisions. You can get people to buy almost anything with the right marketing and fad behind it; even to the point that they will pass up a superior product for it.
It will come to PC, mark my words. Would anyone like to make a bet?
Ok, so it IS about the quality of the experience. I personally think the PS3 gives the best overall experience. PSN does everything I need it to and is FREE. The Dualshock's analogue sticks are more accurate and have less dead space, and the D-pad is far superior as well. The 360 has few exclusives I can't play on my PC or PS3, while the PS3 continues to provide a steady stream of outstanding exclusives.
It's all about living vicariously through his console it seems. As long as "his" console is "winning", he is happy. Then again, if that is all Murderdolls cares about, you would think he would be a Wii fanboy. I mean, if it isn't about the quality of the experience and only about having your team win, then why support the second place console?
Looks great. Can't wait for this one.
Infamous is the better game and if Crackdown was released today it wouldn't score as high, since the bar has been raised. Don't worry though, I am sure Crackdown 2 will be a good game.
Infamous was far better than Prototype and was released before it.
Anyway, Crackdown was a lot of fun. They need to keep and enhance what was great about the first one and maybe add a better narrative. It should be great.
@ Sack Boi
That might be true, but I'm not going to lie about it just to pressure Sony to improve the PSN. When I take the balance of features I really care about, along with cost, I do feel that PSN is the better service.
The other thing to consider is that many of us own both consoles and don't like paying for LIVE. If we say LIVE is better than PSN, isn't Microsoft going to think "oh, we're so much better than PSN, everybody thinks it is worth paying $50 a ...
