My first impression was it was one of those generic over-the-top CGI renderings that we see often in movies, because it just looked TOO good. It was one of those "Yeah right, I wish...oh Hollywood, you're just too much sometimes!" moments.
And then I noticed the red flowing hair.
I said to my wife: "Nah...that can't be...that's, that's Heavenly Sword footage...on HEROES??? But the game's not even close to being out yet!"

My sentiments exactly, after playing (actually, just SEEING Sufficed) for the first time.
It was one of the not-to-oft moments in life where you know you've just experienced something new and really special. I'm personally not an F1 fan, and don't have the patience to follow thoroughly through a complete Formula 1 race, but this masterpiece will absolutely drop the jaw of anyone exposed to it. F1 Fan or not.
I dearly hope that the GT5 crew take some lessons fro...
@ Booneral:
As stated earlier: It's a freedom of choice, and obviously you made it...Congratulations. That isn't to say that everyone else is in agreement. By the way, thank you kindly for the semantics lesson; now that I'm made aware of your sensitivity towards accurate naming conventions, I'll be sure to tread a little more cautiously next time in an effort to not offend you (despite the fact that my aforementioned overall message was obviously clear and remains unchanged.)

Nice rebuttal, as you raised some excellent points.
This dude adresses the story as if he was unravelling some sort of Earth-shattering conspiracy theory.
Pointless, redundant, and outdated info. Yet, the X-Files-like tone of the story is enough to convince a poor uninformed schmuck that the PS3 is some deceitful, second-rate cardboard shoebox that's currently not even up to the task of properly running PS1 games.
Heck, while he was at it, he may as we have continued on:

You're not the only one, buddy.
An a PS3 early adopter, I'm happier than a pig in shyte!
What people fail to understand is that it's not a simple matter of lowering the price; Sony's already taking a big hit with their console, and say what you will, but as far as I'm concerned the PS3 is a Hell of a bargain.
Although the X-Box is a fine machine, I just can't understand the argument that the X-box is so much cheaper, when in fact one may ultimately...
...but uh...I don't get it.
Thanks nonetheless!
"we brits love humour."
I agree...although I never could get into the Mr. Bean thing. But hey, John Cleese has always been a favorite.
Everybody in sync now:
"Always look on the bright side of life...la da, la da da da di da..."
That's some of the best CGI I've seen in weeks!!!...If you squint your eyes, it looks almost real.
(OK Sony, you've got my attention. Elaborate ASAP, please.)
...only because Resident Evil showed more alluring Babe Skin.
Perhaps that's the mistake the Silent Hill folks realized with the first one: Having scantily-clad girls in provacative positions negates the requirement for a video game-based movie to have a valid and logical storyline.
On a serious note, I was actually quite hyped-up about watching it because so many others have told me good things about it. Ultimately, it was a letdown for me.

wouldn't that be a completely different technology anyway?
Regardless: A motion-sensing racing wheel: Now THAT'S the stuff!!!
Perhaps from an E.U. perspective, it could be.
The only problem is that you'd never know who the mayor is because they keep changing them every week.
"The wheel that squeaks gets oiled."
I agree that responding to customer demands is a good thing.
Heh-heh, which one?

Or a Next-gen R.O.B. robot.
OK, sure it'll still suck...but it'll suck in HD!!!
Good point. I never even thought about how it may interfere with the Sixaxis' motion-sensing sensors...at least not without dumbing-down the motion-sensers (a bit of a catch-22).
I suppose motion-inducing and motion-sensing are a bit like oil and water, eh?
"Pardon me sir, but may I please have a heaping serving of Sixaxis motion-sensing? Thank you, as it's much yummier that that rumble stuff."
But the link is wrong...sort of.
I thought it was referencing a completely unrelated article, until I realized that the link is actually pointing to Page 3 of the article.
Threw me for a loop, there.
My main issue with playing FPS games with a gamepad is that you're relying a teensy-weensy analog stick, with such a relatively short movement span. Therefore, even the slightest distance can cause the screen cursor to move further than anticipated, thereby hindering accuracy. A mouse, on the other hand is so much more bang-on and intuitive. Otherwise, I've got no issues with the other gamepad controls for FPS (shooting, moving, strafing, etc.) With respect to these functions, I think I c...
the messiah for my console FPS gripes???
I'm also a fan of the good ol' keyboard and mouse. This looks promising.
That was funny...thanks for starting my morning with a chuckle!...
