How about you run along now, and go play a game such as Crackdown while downloading a Demo.
Yeah, it's already been many a times when upon powering up the system directly via the console's power button, I suddenly realize that I left a game sitting in the machine...at which point I desperately and unsuccessfully lunge for the controller ten feet across the room, nearly shattering my clavicle as my body thuds to the hard floor.
Yes, this will be a welcomed feature indeed!
It's not rocket science.
I don't know why so many people can't or refuse to understand it.
Most notably ludicrous is his reference to the 200,000 HD-DVD machines in comparison the relatively miniscule 30,000 <ahem> "true" Blu-Ray gigs. I wonder if he was actually able to get through this declaration with a serious face. Whether Toshiba (or anyone else for that matter) considers the PS3 to be a genuine player or not, there is absolutely no denying PS3 sales have, are, and WILL CONTINUE to be influenced by the inclusion of the Blu-Ray player (which can easily hold i...
Oh, how I wish!
I'm one of those dudes with an older HD box. Natively, it can do either 540p or 1080i. Therefore, other than a handful existing games, I'm stuck with lowly 480p.
But from what I remember reading, it's supposed to a little more complicated to do the 1080i thing.
Easy Tiger.
No need to get so defensive about your beloved system. I was quite simply stating my perception about the channel...not asking for a sales pitch or a subjective, unsupported opinion about which console is better.
I'm happy for your enthusiasm though.
I'm still using my almost-six-year-old beloved Hitachi 53" projection (4:3 format). FINALLY after all these years, I get to feed an HD to it. Although the picture is still quite impressive, I can see along the edges of the screen that the three light rays don't quite line up that properly. Nothing most people would notice, but I'm overly sensitive to audio/video variations, so it's driving me nuts! Yeah, the wife's not taking any bites on my hits for a new LCD widescreen, given that...
I absolutely agree with you about Olivia Munn...there's just SOMETHING I can't put my finger on that just rubs me the wrong way (Holy puns, Batman!). She honestly just gives me a headache.
Layla, on the other hand, something that just exotic about her. Honorable mentions to the lovely Kristin Holt as well.
I've been tuning into G4 for a few years now, and it's sad to say that I've been less inclined to watch it as of late.
I'm still scratching my head concerning the relevance airing of Cops and Cheaters.
They also seem overwhelmingly biased (referring primarily to AotS), swaying quite heavily towards the XBox side of things. I heard somewhere that G4 is somehow indirectly affiliated with MS...does anyone know if there's any truth to this?
Decisions, decisions!
the amount of smack Nintendo's been talking up lately.
For shame, Reggie...For shame!
P(retty)S(pectacular)3(rd-gene ration-gaming)
Praise the lord!...this feature couldn't come soon enough.
Hmmm...now if I only had a way to eliminate my screen's burn-in as a result of downloading all those massive files from the PSN. ;)
Aw, c'mon!...
...F.E.A.R.!...F.E.A.R.!...F. E.A.R.!...F.E.A.R.!...F.E.A.R.! ...
It's nice to finally see Sony releasing some adequate commentary that's free from that usual stink of arrogance.
Good on them, and keep it up.
Yes, but it's such a BEAUTIFUL George Foreman Grill, wouldn't you say?
...and think of the added health benefits from all the fat you'll be skimming off your ribeye steak!
<Read in the voice of the legendary Homer Simpson>:
Mmmmm....Sonyburgers!!!
It's not what I wish; it's the simple truth.
If the majority of the market is driven by rabid, naive fanboys, then so be it: We all lose...including those ignorant drones.
When that happens, we'll just keep monotonously creating Mii's for our lonely Plaza, and pay outrageous prices for mediocre games supported by only one system.
After all, majority does rule...even if that majority is a dumb as wood, I'm sad to say.
of the importance of competition in the video game industry, as well as why no one (including the most devoted fanboy) should ever, EVER hope for a single console to "win" (as many like to put it). Those people fail to realize that without the existence of competiton, or the pressure to improve, we'd probably all still be playing Combat on the Atari 2600.
A prime case in point is the Wii's online interactivity. Prior to, and shortly following launch, the Wii was pra...
My oh my, where were my manners!... Poor R34GTR was so helpful in providing me with advice and helping me choose a game, I forgot to up his bubble-meter.
Ahhh, there ya go. Positive feedback for R34GTR...and you as well, for your keen attention to detail, and overall contribution efforts.
Thanks again, boys!
"...They are realizing that the PS3 is inferior when compared to the 360 and Wii."
Thank you for my daily chuckle with that entertaining sarcastic one-liner.
Oh you kidder, you!
