How about we all avoid replying to FirstknighT with "something stupid", and keep the peace and just let him enjoy a YET ANOTHER thread for a system - and a user base - for which he obviously loathes more than Dracula does sunlight.
No need to speculate as to WHY he - and Mart - continuously linger around such threads with so many "childish comments". Because there is no positive answer to that question. Although I would venture to speculate that the reason...
I assure you that I definitely haven't overlooked sweet lil Motorstorm...It's just that I'm all gamed out as a result of having TOO MUCH to play with between my PS3, PSP, and Wii (which has collected about an inch of dust as of late.) Errr...let's call it an attempt at 'efficient time management'...and that supurb Resistance has me jonesing for a little more fps action, which has me looking in the direction of F.E.A.R. later this month. R6 Vegas and Double Agent are looking quite tempting a...
In chronological order: Knockout Kings, Marvel UA, Resitance, Virtua Fighter 5.
It looks as if my current attach rate's gonna balloon, come the end of the month, following the release of some anticipated titles.
Is it customary in Japan to wear a Lone Ranger cowboy hat when golfing? Hmm...Where can I get one of those??? ;)
Here in Canada, Blu-Ray movies usually average no more than CN$30...which amounts to about US$1.67. ;)
The prices are usually only a few bucks more than normal DVD's and seem to often be less expensive than HD-DVD's.
See for yourselves:

You took the words right out of my mouth.
yet.
did it for me.
Matter of fact, I'm still sobbing because to this day I can't get those dammed overly-jolly tunes outta my head.
...didn't have the physical control to put that cursed game down until I finished it.
I just picked up this game up from EB Games Canada yesterday as a birtday gift for my cousin.
Upon doing so, I learned that EB Games (Canada) is offering a fantastic offer when purchasing GoW2: whomever purchases the game has until March 31st to opt to return the game to EB in exchange for an in-store credit in the amount of the original purchase price of CN$50...EVEN IF the game was opened and played to death. As long as the game's in good condition, and intact with case and...
NOW I've heard everything.
Can you say: "New Benchmark"?
as a result of the limited aiming controls...until I played through Resistance.
hallelujah!...I have been converted! As a result, FEAR has got me VERY tempted.
Just a guess, but I would bet my money on "absolutely not." Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the 360 nothing more than a specialized PC (similar to the original XBox, of which the primary guts were comprised of a PIII-700, and a GeForce 2 GTS card?) If this is indeed the case, I'd have to deduce that the Cell is in an entirely different league of its own; I've yet to use a PC that can accurately render raytracing anywhere close to real-time.
From the spectacular stuf...
I can attest to that, as I was precisely trying to convey a few nights ago, after watching that absolutely stunning Littlebigworld demo.
That seemingly-simple game is real-time CGI in action, folks. With physics to boot.
Good times ahead!
then forget about DVD's...we'd all still be popping in the lowly VHS tape.
Not the only factor...but a critical one nonetheless.
(C'mon Universal...I know you're just itching to cross over. Do it...DO IT!!!)
Acronym slip...meant to say FPS. Thanks for the heads-up.
And yes, the remainder of my previous post remains accurate.
BTW: As far as traditional RPG's are concerned, I'm not much of a fan of them, as I don't have enough patience to put up with them long enough...although I must admit that I was indeed a rabid fan of RPG's originating from the Duke Nukem universe (Rocket Propelled Grenade!). ;)
is an excellent showpiece for Blu-Ray, because it's shot entirely with digital cameras (eliminating transfer loss).
...which is why I bought it! ;)
and from what I gathered, he proves to be a great representative for the company. Well-spoken, cool & collected, and most importantly: his ability to handle a gamepad quite decently hints to me that he's not limited strictly to the beaurocracy and politics of the company, and gets a little more involved in the actual experience itself.
Quite a likeable little chrome-dome!
I suppose my Wii attach rate would be five: Zelda, CoD3, Rayman, and Trauma Centre, respectively.
The major difference between my Wii attach rate and that of my PS3 is that the Wii games were purchased almost immediately, and closely together. The attach rate for my Wii has been, and probably WILL BE static for quite some time to come, as I quite honestly have no immediate intention or desire to play or purchase any Nintendo titles. In the first few weeks, the Wii was all th...
