Now, would someone please be so kind as to direct me to a gaming forum that consists of well-thought-out, informative posts written by users who acquire an IQ higher than their shoe size, rather than this repetitive nonsense?
is either visually impaired or hasn't seen/played the aforementioned two titles.
...if you're spending most of your time sitting in the PS3 forums whining about, and focusing so much energy on a system you uh, "hate" so much, instead of playing those really cool, exclusive downloads.
But if we're to compare apples to apples, wouldn't logic lead one to assume that the 360 had a comparative amount of time to develop for that system's games prior to their launch just the same?
In other words, I'd venture to assume that Micrsoft provided developers plenty of time to tinker with the 360 long before it was brought to market, while the first generation X-Box was bringing in sales.
If this is true, AND by applying your logic, then 360 titles should'v...
Things just keep getting better and better fo' my Big Black Box!
I completely agree with your opinion about not necessarily agreeing with reviewers - or with the masses, for that matter.
But I personally like reviews not only to acquire a GENERAL (not necessarily agreeable) consensus about the game (or movie, or car, etc.), but more as a means to learn details about the game, and what makes it tick, before I commit any money to it. For example, Oblivion may be a fantastic game, but knowing that is a 100+ hour game already tells me that the...
We start to see ATI's response to NVidia's crown jewel.
...Now let's see some DirectX 10 magic at work!
It just absolutely boggles my mind, as to the raving mass popularity of Apple and it's products.
I adore the idea of being able to customize, upgrade, change, modify, replace my PC parts at will...and at a much cheaper cost.
Most people talk about compatibility issues with the PC, but in my opinion, it's such a moot arguement considering the incredibly huge support that's only a search engine away. Besides, I have a hard time understanding what these compatibili...
I've actually really enjoyed my PSP since acquiring it last March.
The games currently out there (and those coming) quench at least my appetite for what's fun and entertaining.
IMO, it's a fine, fun, and convenient piece of hardware...well, except for those dastardly potentially-dead pixels!
For someone who hates black, it's interesting that you have arguably the most black-proprietary avatar on this site.
I mean, I'm just saying...one may consider that sooooo 80's.
Besides, I think I understand the root of your dillema:
You can minimize the marks and stains, and keep your gorgeous, secretly-owned PS3 clean and shiny by not urinating on it so much.
It's not socially acceptable behaviour, you know.
Anyone think this venture would help reinforce MGS4 as a PS3 exclusive?
I enjoyed Mortal Kombat.
Maybe it's one of those movies, where upon watching it agaion, one contemplates "What the hell was I thinking???".
I hate when that happens.
Oh God, please...please...no more Loco Rocos...still can't get those forcibly-happy tunes and joyful, addictive, bouncing balls outta my skull after completing the PSP version over a month ago.
Had to...keep...playing...couldn't stop!
The therapy and medication is helping somewhat.
Obviously, this analyst must be a genius...it's a wonder he's not a brain surgeon.
Only such an individual can comprehend the rarely-understood complexities of...whadda they call it...oh ya: COMPETITION and SUPPLY & DEMAND.
Sheesh...And these ANALysts get paid for it to boot.
...or have the popularity tides been turning in favour of the PS3 over the past couple of weeks?
I do indeed love my PS3.
...ah, let me count the ways...
HD gaming...Blu-Ray...visual appeal...wifi...OS capability...removable hard drive...memory card slots...connectivity...etc., etc., etc....
It's gonna be a good, good year...an unproductive one, but a good one nonetheless!
God be with you, future X-Box investors...I've had a terrible experience with Benq's (horrendous) optical DVD drives a few years back, as well as the company's (lack of) customer service.
I don't know if anything's changed since then, but I vowed never to buy anything from Benq as a result.
My replacement LG's have been rock-solid ever since.
On the other hand, who know's...it's likely that all drives on the market are made by only a handful of com...

...Wii Punchout 2007, anyone???
I just hope to God that the motion-sensing is significatly more accurate and responsive than Wii Boxing - a game I love but is damn frustrating due to it's inability to accurately register punching motions.
