I hope it's as simple as fixing a firmware problem. I never had the chance to get into this game with the PS2.
Tried it at Best Buy though, and MAN is it entertainingly addictive!
With all the pressure (read: money-making opportunity) to get this game working on the PS3, I can't see the developer NOT responding with some sort of solution soon.
who actually enjoyed the first movie?
Then again, that was a LONG time ago...
Thanks for the editing tip.
My intention was to reference the text-base review anyway. I've been wanting to embed video, but for the life of me, I couldn't find the "Embed Video" section till now.
Thanks again.
Wasn't this originally slated for March release, which later got pushed to April?
Now late May???
is that this guy managed to get a copy of the PS3 game...I've been trying to get my hands on one all week, and no one appears to have received it yet...many of the the big-box outlets don't even have a listing for it yet.
(a blessing in disguise?)
Upon first noticing the words "Punch Out" and "Wii" in the same sentence, I thought that my greatest Wii-wish had finally come true: An updated Punch Out version specific to the Wii and its controls.
Oh well...I still think (hope?) it's only a matter of time before it does materialise. I just hope that the controls will be more responsive and accurate than Wii Boxing.
because here in my universe, all the department and Big Box stores claim the polar opposite.
Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy yourself while visiting our planet. ;)
Yes.
Now can someone please direct me to the closest video store that rents Blu-Ray flicks so I can indulge in all those juicy HD movies already???
I'm not a big fan of the GTA series (I've tried but I always lose interest at around 4% completion), but if THAT's in-game, then my God have they come a long way. Take into account the incredible number of detailed and animate objects...and the awesome lighting.
IF that turns out to be in-game, and the story is as intriguing as the music makes it sound, then it's pretty definite that I'm going to give GTA another crack.
but the issue lies with the early adopters, pioneers, (or "afficionados", if you will) who misleadingly recently purchased the Premium version with the assumption that they were getting the best 360 available for some time to come (hence the term "Premium.". Had they had the "choice", those same customers would have opted for the so-called Elite version if it was made available.
I'm not knocking the natural cycle of innovation and evolution; but ...
is that the updates could be made available online and equally available to both systems, therefore rendering 360's inferior optical storage medium relatively irrelevant...at least in this case.
Does any XBoxer here have Fight Night? I'm curious to know how your loading times are.
I have the PS3 version, and as much as I absolutely adore the game itself, the loading times are nothing short of torture. I don't think I've ever played a slower-loading game.
I could swear I've felt rigor mortis creeping into my muscles, as I gaze numbly at the screen, drool running down my chin, while waiting endlessly for a fight to load up.
Ummm...best for whom??? ;)
But didn't Sony already sell somewhere along the lines of 25 million units (I may be wrong)...with unit sales increasingly surging as of the recent few months?
Perhaps I'm naive, but PSP sales don't sound like small potatoes to me. Yet I hear nothing but doom and gloom about the system.
Go figure.
because, quite frankly, there's nothing left to add...Owners of the 60 gig version already have the "Elite."...well, unless Sony's intention is to release a new SKU for the inclusion of a $6.99 HDMI cable. (heh, heh!)
Still, this little tidbit of...uh..."news" can't help but remind me of those old Bugs Bunny cartoons I used to watch when I was a kid: One faces off with a gun, then the other dude counters with a rifle...the former follows with a machine gun....
That sounds nice to me...perhaps with a variation of different high-profile commentators every now and again?...granted, this will cost money.
Kingboy: I never tried it, but did you happen to try the Spanish commentary? Are they anything like the real-life South American counterparts, who's announcement of each and every goal sounds like a huge, exciting, three-minute-long orgasm?:
"Goooooooooal!!!!! Gol! gol! gol! gol!...Gooooooooalllll!!!!!... .Luis Fern...
I would never say that!
...Because you already said it for me.
:P
can only compell me to deduce that they're at least concerned of, if not downright intimidated by, the PS3 and what it has to offer.
Ahh, the beauty of a competitive market!
Hi kids! Today's Word of the Day is “comparable.” Can you say “comparable?”
I mean, it's a gorgeous, ground-breaking game(?), but I'm spent after the first three laps.
Forget about Formula 1; I can't imagine how those Nascar enthusiasts manage to maintain consciousness: "Go Left!...now left, left!....ok, now go left!" ;)
Last night, I was playing the God of War I for the first time ever. And to say that I was in complete awe is an understatement.
I'm only about an hour and fifteen minutes into the game, and it just blew my mind. My wife at one point woke up and asked me how I was enjoying the game (not that she interested in the least bit, unfortunately). All I could reply was "probably the best game I've ever played...or at least one of them."
She says, "wow, t...
