Ahh, I miss LCS. A PS2-level GTA on the PSP was a genius idea and I'm glad the handheld was able to handle it. Just recently got 100% in VCS!
I'm still praying for a San Andreas Stories.. hahaha
I'm glad there's some interest in making this happen. I'm really hoping this goes through and becomes a reality!!
A Vita version BETTER happen!
All that "crap" they released happened to be some of the highest rated digitally distributed games of this generation.
If people like "crap", then it's probably only "crap" to an extremely small and insignificant minority, wouldn't you think?
PlayStation Plus is definitely impressing me more and more as time goes on. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be getting Plus anytime soon (spending most of my future gaming cash on the Vita), but I'll most definitely be picking it up just before a PS4 launch (whenever that'll be). I'm assuming Sony will make great implementations of Plus on the PS4 and I wouldn't be able to ignore the great deals.
For the record.. I feel like a fairer comparison would...
I agree, but "racism" typically entails more than just race. In America, racism is used to describe overall discrimination, whether it be against African Americans, Hispanics, Germans, Jews, Homosexuals, etc.
I feel like the term is thrown around way too much.
I hope the "time is right" around mid-August, during Gamescom..
The screen size is still a tad smaller than th Vita's? Wow, I guess I never really noticed how insanely large the screen is. (writing this from my Vita) haha
The Vita is perfectly capable of having a console-like FPS game and, despite it's flaws, Burning Skies did prove that. Moving the character in that game felt very natural, unlike FPS games like Coded Arms and Medal of Honor on the PSP.
I just hope they don't drop the ball with this title because I'm very excited about it! I feel like the campaign will be much like Unit 13's and I'm praying that online modes are as plentiful as they are on the PS3 and 360, ...
A bigger screen wasn't the "revision" they needed. A second nub would have made more sense. If anything, you can charge the same amount it would be if you were to buy an original 3DS and second nub add-on.
I will say the bigger screen looks nice, though. I wonder if it's the same resolution as the original?
Unfortunately, this industry has a problem with being unlike the film industry, so they do whatever they can to try to gain acceptance for other industries that still view them as an undergroud fad. It's sad because the video game industry has grown alot over the 5 or 6 decades and still hasn't been okay with the fact that it IS different, and that's it's strongest point.
They need to take pointers from the porn industry. Sure, they get a bad rep and are consi...
After naming everything on the Wii with the prefix "Wii", it isn't exactly a surprise that those outside of our "circle" would be confused.
Wii Sports
Wii Balance Board
Wii Motion plus
Wii Boxing Glove, steering wheel, sword, light gun, zapper, turbo wheel (look'em up, they're all real)
Wii Speak
The list goes on and on and on and on. What reason does the average consumer have to believe that a &...
I'm pissed the game won't be coming to the Vita.
It definitely can sell Vitas. The big worry is whether or not Sony will advertise it correctly.
It doesn't give you free games in the same way that Netflix doesn't give you free movies.
The bottom line is, PlayStation Plus gives you access to a large variety of different games for the same price that it would cost you to just ACCESS the online portion of the games you already paid $60 for on the 360, and on top of other subscriptions you already pay for that can be accessed through Xbox Live.
Saying PS+ doesn't give you free games is just li...
I think "Michael" was Sony's best PlayStation advertisement ever. I'd go as far as to say it's the best video game commercial of all time.
It went personal in a way no commercials ever do in the industry (especially in the casual-centric generation we're in now) by speaking metaphorically to the gamer. Our favorite characters thanking us? How can anything be better?? haha
Don't mean to go back to this, but..
Microsoft (@E3): "We've gone from the number one selling console in North America to the number one selling console worlwide."
I don't see it. But then again, they were really vague on that statement during the conference so it's still pretty confusing as to what they meant by that. I don't see how it makes sense on any level.
Trying to support such a casual-like peripheral on one side (Move) while trying to support such a hardcore-focused system (Vita) can get any company's hands full. It's a really difficult thing to do and I don't know if the reward is worth it in the case of the Move.
Sony's manufacturing FOUR different gaming systems and one major peripheral. I feel like that makes it too hard to focus on what their majority wants.
Sony! You are officially the ...
I'm disappointed by it's showing during the conference, too. I know all the games were there at E3, but the fact is that this is their brand new hardware that hasn't been loved nearly as much as it should be worldwide.
The Vita gives you such a fun and powerful experience that it's a shame it's being overlooked in the market, whether it be due to the games or (most likely) the price.
By the way they showcased the hot new PS3 exclusive IPs,...
I hope they don't cut costs by removing the WiFi from the 16GB version, but it's definitely possible. They gotta be doing something with that 16GB, I can't see that one being a simple, standalone unit.
