Jesus, the thing is out in one country.. I mean, that plummet in numbers was pretty significant but you'd be stupid to think it would be selling 400,000 units every week running into January. It's launch lineup didn't supply any of the major titles Japan loves.
On the other hand, they have quite a few titles announced that can please the EU and US market. Personally, I predict EU to be the most obsessed with it.
One thing is for sure, though. If t...
Guys, we're getting disagree raped up the ass right now..
@ATi - Yes, I do! haha, they're frickin sexy, bro
@Cy - absolutley. Asian, Hispanic, Italian, Australian.. they give me the motivation to travel. haha
Homophobia and Fanboyism all in one!
That's more like it! They also had Uncharted 3 at around 2 million until they fixed it to over 5. I was gonna say... didn't it sell close to 4 million on launch day? haha
Hmmm..
Looks at their GT5 numbers..
Looks at PD's GT5 numbers...
Way off. haha!
Fuckin' get here already! It's been far too long since I've gotten to play something from Thatgamecompany. I can't wait to see how they're going to innovate this time around.
I'm glad for anyone who is excited for this game but, to me, this definitely doesn't spark my interest anymore. I know I'm not alone because I noticed countless comments online from others who feel the same way.
I will not be buying "Ninja Raiden".
December 29th, 2011:
Dear Diary,
I found my favorite website.
I think the games that were available at launch were pretty western-based and they missed the titles that are system sellers over there like Monster Hunter and Final Fantasy.
If anything, I think they've focused on the western market for the Vita a lot more than on previous consoles. After all, most of the games that they talked about being in the works for the Vita were games like Uncharted, Resistance, Killzone, Call of Duty, BioShock, etc. Granted they also talked abou...
And the IPs keep rolling in!
Well, I'd be lying if I said I didn't think Kinect had something to do about it. I think, in order to put more of their resources into Kinect, they went ahead and announced some tried and true exclusives that they believe will last long enough to hold off the hardcore (Halo 4, 5, 6)while they bask in the casual attention they've wanted.
This video just reminded me that I still have Killzone 3 in my collection.
I think it's time to take a break from playing Uncharted 3 on Crushing and go for the Platinum in K3. I'm at 90%!
I'd love a San Andreas Stories as part of their "Stories" continuation from the two on PSP. Those did pretty well on the PSP (selling over 5 million or so) so I think there's reason to develop a Vita one.
Man, the possibilities! Less than two months!
Yeah, they said the prices will range from $9.99 - $49.99.
I had attempted to "kill the meme"....
Then I took an arrow in the knee.
I might do that for the sake of getting it sooner. haha
^ Truth
I hope COD Vita comes out within at least a few months of the US/UK launch (although I doubt it).
Something about being able to play Call of Duty anywhere gets me pumped, even if I'm not that into it on home consoles. That might sell them quite a few units.
PS: The more I see the UI, the more I love it!
@VampiricDragon:
lol, I'm aware of that, dude. I'm just saying the argument would be much more leveled out if you gave the Vita time to REACH a week's worth of sales.
Some people compared two days of the 3DS launch to two days of the Vita launch. That's a much fairer (is that a word?) comparison.
3DS - 7 Days - 367,691
Vita - 2 Days - 324,859
I believe next week's numbers would be more comparable.
The monster has yet to sell under 1,000,000 units in a year! I was impressed to find it sold about 5 million units last year. And to think people expected it to die in 2008/2009.
My PS2 is still alive and kicking ten years later. It's currently at a friend's house and I sold my Xbox to a friend of mine back in 2007.
What a great generation that was.
