A November 8th launch wouldn't be hard to believe and would be a smart move for them. Microsoft is already behind in pre-order sales and doesn't have the hype that the PS4 does going for it at this time.
Especially considering that its launch lineup isn't exactly spectacular, no matter what any fanboy says. That's not to say that the PS4's is so much better or that the XBO's is bad, but no one should expect the XBO to do better out of the gate because ...
It's obvious it'll be coming to PS3 and PS4. The only ones saying otherwise are extremely delusional Xbox fanboys.
I don't think it's too hard to believe, but I'm still not very interested in the camera right now. I'd rather use the cash for a new controller or another game! That's why I'm relieved to find that they give you the option. Only reason I would really use it would be for chatting with friends.
WHO SAID "TAKE YOUR MEDICINE?!?!"

@AngelicIceDiamond:
Have fun, brah. lol
Not very surprised about the PS3 comparison. PS2 is slightly more impressive. I'm glad they're going back to what made their consoles popular and not giving a back seat to games in favor of "the almighty cell".
I'm more excited to see what impressive new IPs will be coming out of their side as the install base grows, assuming they capitalize on this massive hype.
That's great that they want to believe in it and all, but if that's the case, why even give it such an awful name like Xbox One? And if it IS Kinect, why change its need to be plugged in? I know they've gotten backlash for it, but how are you going to sit there and say that those two products go hand in hand when I can basically throw the camera in the trash and still use the One now?
What kind of twisted, complex message is that?
Yup haha.
As messy and indecisive as the XBO messaging and PR has been this summer, you can't really say that the launch is a big mess because it hasn't happened yet. We can, however, say that the console's entire timeline from reveal to now has definitely been a mess.
I won't be buying it and I'm not sure when I will. Microsoft has done a lot of reversals, but none of that brings clarity to the platform; only more questions.
Does anyone else see Crimson Dragon as the XBO version of Lair? That game looks like a mess.
@No_Limit: But - and feel free to correct me of I'm wrong cuz I'm not sure - isn't this a Kinect title? If it is, then I don't see this being much different from Lair, despite the developer's background. Motion gaming for a title of that nature just doesn't work. I would be thoroughly impressed if it did, but it looks as if there's still room for error wit...
It can only be a "slaughter" if these games actually came out already so we can compare critic scores. Until then, your comment is opinion.
As for me, the only title on the XBO that would interest me at this point is Dead Rising 3, and even then it's not a must-have for me. Other than that, multi platform titles are what is keeping me excited, and I'm deciding to play them on the more powerful hardware (PS4).
Oh, and the Fighter Within is li...
I'm loving the F2P and indie titles coming to the console at launch!
And even if the XBO launched a week earlier in North America, the hype and lower price point put behind the PS4 is a bit powerful to overtake at this point (although obviously that won't mean that the XBO is "doomed"). They've had 3 strong major conferences this year and have yet to slip up in terms of sending a message about what their next console does, which was a major problem with the PS3.
@Mika
I'm sorry, but the countless fanboy-type comments that Aaron Greenberg alone has made throughout this generation is proof enough that you're blatantly wrong. He even called PSN a "knock-off" at one point.
Let these guys have a little fun. They were obliterated in the press for years. I'm sure it'll subside when the consoles are out and established.
Besides, this sorta stuff isn't new. (SEGA does what Ninten...
My main cause for confusion was the fact that it was a PS3 title.
If it's a free-to-play game, why put it on the PS3 when it already has two full LBP games under its belt?
It would have been great to add to the F2P library of the PS4 and even include the Vita in on it. Just didn't make much sense to me.
"Contrary to the expectations of many, Sony’s Gamescom conference revealed very few surprises."
lol
Few MAJOR surprises, sure. The big surprises for me were the launch regions, the Vita games and the fact that it was pretty much game after game after game after game.
Unexpected, but it was most definitely something that the media and everyone watching picked up right away.
Right now, they're looking like the sure and confident ones, which made that comment seem perfectly placed seeing as MS have been constantly changing their minds over almost every little detail.
That was pretty unexpected.
I think they did a little sacrificing to get it out in the States a little early just to get it out in front of Black Friday.
People get a full week to buy it before the crowds devour it on the big day.
No, I'm sure TitanFall will sell just fine, especially when they announce it's PS3 and PS4 debut (obviously) because of the install base and bigger audience present on those platforms.
I mean, come on... it's so obvious that the game isn't exclusive that it might as well say "look out for the PS4 version coming next month!" on the back of the XBO version.
Oh, and as for this topic. I'm not entirely sure. I'd have to play it m...
