Are you really that dim?
The PS2 had the eyetoy before the Wii came out. This is another eyetoy type game - and a very good one at that. I can see collectible cards coming soon - Yo-Gi-Oh type card trading etc. This can be quite a craze if it goes well.
This game is original for a console - no similar type interface and game exist for any platform.
Game on one DVD, and bonus content, behind the scenes etc on second DVD. That would make sense - and not cripple the game, and still get bonus content on it - and be in line with statement that game will be on one DVD.
Great to hear that they could fit all the content on one disk if it is 20 hours.
The reason behind this is because of the bias of reviewers against the PS3. Some games got 10/10 that was not as good as this title - and it proofs that the bias was so blatant that there is now calls for reviewing the reviewing system. That is a clear vote of no confidence in the integrity of the reviewers.
Expect more calls for a new review metric.

R&C is a great series. The latest one is a great game. The sites giving it low scores - well - even XB360 fans are a bit taken with the clear bias that is showing on these sites.
For the simple reason - for months now we stated that some sites are biased. Not just biased - extremely biased. The are on a totally different planet when reviewing PS3 games. This got shouted down. Why make a big deal about it? Because if you play football, and the ref clearly plays with your opponents against you, then you can not take the score seriously.

You know - these Reviewers - if they can still be called that - chose the wrong title to downplay. This is a must have title - as was all the previous R&C titles. If they went after Uncharted - which is a new title - it might have gone by unnoticed. But going after R&C - well - that was just plain stupid. This titles already in its demo form impressed many. Even Xbots becoming uneasy with the low score that R&C is getting. Gamespot, you when you go out to get some company - you try to at least not make it this obvious. Whatever credibility you had left - it is gone now. How would the xbots trust you with XB360 scores now? Every XB360 game great? Every PS3 game bad? Surely if you have such strange ways of reviewing games - then how can you be trusted not to treat publishers the same? What is next? Pacman from Bungie scores 10/10 and MGS for X...
And when Uncharted is out you will bash it and say you look forward to Haze. And when that is out you will say it suck because you already have Halo3, but that you look forward to MGS4. And when that comes out you will say it sucks - you will rather look forward to KZ2. And when that comes out you will....

I still maintain - all games must be re-ranked. Make R&C a benchmark for platformers - make the score 7, and re-rank the rest. Otherwise - how much will game improve over R&C:TOD? Much I think - this is only the first year of the console. So not much leeway in the scoring for R&C:TOD2 is there?

You would think they should realize by now that they have damaged their reputation - and that they need to start getting fair on PS3 games. Hell yes. Reviewers giving 10/10 for many of the games the past few months that really should only be 7-8 scores, and 6.5 to games that are really 8-9 just made me realize that the reviewers - little fat kiddies who really need to get in the sun sometime - are a bunch of twits.
I have all the previous titles in the R&C, and the Jak & Daxter series. These titles rock. The replay value is great. The game play is great. I could not care less what some FPS obsessed console ...
Because most of these features will be included in the OS.
That was Sony's strategy from the start - the OS footprint is bigger because the video / chat etc will be folded into the OS - and be available to all titles. And the Home integration etc.
The future will tell us if it was the right way to go - for now I think we can expect the PS3 titles to not have these features that will be in the OS. MS can not do that because the space reserved is not enough for the...
I will not buy games with overtly gay characters. If they want to push agendas - don't do it in my entertainment. I buy the games in my house - and my kids will not be exposed to that type of crap. End of story.
So go ahead - make a gay lead title - and if it flops because you try to push the gay agenda in my kids face then you will maybe learn to shove it where the sun does not shine. Take your liberalism agenda and take a hike.
So why make a PS3 version when most who own it already has it for the PS2 and can play it on the PS3. I have Fight Night Round 3 for PS2, and will not get the PS3 version - because the PS2 version worked fine.
Good move - don't remake the old one that did not sell well even on PS2 - make a new game.
R&C, Uncharted, this is gonna be good time to own a PS3.
If you played the previous R&C games, you will know how good the series is. Try as you may, this game will be a favorite for a long time among my kids... yes... my kids... because... it is a kids game. Guess what - kids like to play games as well. For me - The GetAway, MGS4, KZ2... but for the small ones - R&C is the top title.
Whatever the xbots and the biased reviewers say - this title will be a system seller. It is AAA++.
Liked the previous titles on PS2. Hope it plays good and make it to the PS3.
