Dreadful video thats completly useless for comparing graphical qulity. If the game looked like the video, you wouldn't buy it no matter what platform.
I run both my 360 and PS3 versions through the latest 1080P Sony X series TV. The differences are not huge, but the PS3 does have a slight edge. The differnece is minimal enough that if you have anything other than the latest TV tech, you won't really notice it.

Its not heavenly sword, and its certainly no where near the best game of the year, but Conan was great fun. Extremely bloody and with brutal combo's, its a game that continued to make me wince as I played and I thought the boss battles were very well realised, even if they were blatently ripped off from god of war!
I played it on the 360 and it made a nice change from the constant uninventive FPS 'shoot em in the head' title...

It was shame that the legal tussle Sony had, meant the original six axis didn't include rummble, and this was stupid issue of their own making. Well its a rosy view, but a decidely well derived view from this guy who obviously has a good feel for whats happening and good 'overall view'.
Real gamers will rejoice that the PS3 has not flopped and is now coming into its own. Despite the 'own goals' and the stuggle to bring this product to market, I've always thought Sony were an innovative company and the sheer breadth of titles available on the previous Sony machines was refreshing.

It's relitively inexpensive to burn a blu ray, and cost certainly isn't an issue for a development house - the postage to send it will cost almost the same as the cost of bulk bought blank disc. However, theres probably not that many blu ray burners in a dev house, so a game kept small for the 360 version can easilly be burnt on a DL dvd, and there will be many more of these burners around than Blu ray.
As for DVD DL being a bad media chioce for a next gen games console - well yes ...

Though I think it may happen in 3 years or so, its certainly not going to happen any time soon. 360 still outsells PS3 in those territories and whilst in the UK I can see this changing in the next few months Its going to take some enormous sales to overturn the lead the MS box has built up. As long as both machines have a decent install base and attract good support, I'm happy! :)

The article plainly states that worldwide Blu ray outsells HD DVD by a factor of 4 to 1.
When Warner look at their sales records, they will see that the same movies on bluray, sell many more units than their HD DVD equivilents.

a) VGchratz have shown time and again that their figures are guestimates based on a very small sample size. You can't use their figures and quote them as facts.
