So now Xbox has too many games?! Haha they can't seem to catch a break.
People who have xbox's, love Gamepass. People who don't have xbox's, hate Gamepass. That should tell you all you need to know. Nobody seems to have a problem with optional, cosmetic micro-transactions on other platforms, why freak out when xbox does it?
Nope, only the successful giants seem to be adopting this model. Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Disney +. These companies are struggling to survive, right?

Yeah, they are doing it for the clicks. We need a better way to monetize sites so that they are based on quality of content.
Can you imagine the number of articles that would be up here if Phil Spencer left his post without any communication? It would easily be 3 times the amount of articles that you're seeing here. Most of these don't even get approved.
Never thought I would be this excited for a flight simulator lol. I hope microsoft takes this tech and uses it for a Crimson Skies reboot.
I can see Xbox Evo as a name but I seriously prefer just calling it the new Xbox. If they release a mid gen refresh, it could just be called the Xbox Elite. While I appreciate the thought and fun that goes into a name, to me, it has always just been "Xbox".
Why a day earlier?
The only mistake they made (IMO) is the price. The console should have been $399 at launch with Kinect as an optional accessory. It took them YEARS to fix that messaging but by then, the damage was done. If they launch Scarlett $100 more than PS5, I expect similar numbers for next gen. If XCloud is a success, Xbox will sell even fewer next gen consoles than it did this gen. Really excited to see how both companies attack the next generation. I do hope they go in slightly different directions ...
I believe right now the difference is:
PSNOW:
* Over 800 games (majority from PS2, PS3)
* Ability to stream all of the games PSNOW
* Able to download certain games and play locally
* A curated selection of older ps4 1st party games with a 3 month window on the service
XBOX Gamepass:
* Over 100 games (majority from Xbox One)
* Right now, you can only download the games and play they locally.

Can you imagine how powerful gamers could be if we all united? We could run this industry! As long as we're divided, we're weakened. :(
People losing their minds over optional cosmetic skins. Doesn't fortnite charge 20 for their skins? Again.. Optional. If you don't want to pay money, just earn in game credits. Gamers whine about everything.
The development cost of gears 3 vs gears 5? Anyone?
The difference here is that the new call of duty is being released on the same day, for the same price, across all platforms with 1/3 of the game removed for all but one platform. Does it make more sense now?
And thank Sony for taking these practices to the next level? come on.. 1-3 months I get, that's totally fine. in all the years Microsoft had COD, they never purchased a year exclusivity maps or modes. It would be one thing if the xbox version was 10 dollars cheaper, but the same price? Very Anti-consumer. I don't blame Sony for this, Activision has been going the way of EA for a while now. I hope xbox players boycott the game and just wait for next years version.
I would drop 100 bucks for 2 light guns and these remakes. I miss the days of light guns on consoles.

No, they won't. Any you're welcome to sit out of the subscription model and purchase your games as you do now. No reason to mess it up for the rest of us.
