Or do both, an affordable add on for the DS4 that gets the job done and a Pro controller with all the bells and whistles built in. I want to see what a sony controller would look like if they spared no expense.
This feels like they are testing the market for either their own Premium Pro controller or perhaps considering it for the DS5. Also, it could have its own battery source to not drain the DS4.
@Simon_Peter,
On Moon Studios website it states: "In 2011, Moon Studios became a Microsoft First Party Developer and is now working on Ori and the Will of the Wisps." https://www.orithegame.com/...
Thanks for the Undead Labs Info, I'll make note of it. :)
@CaptianCook,
I know that they own the flight simulator IP, but I can't find any info stating...
Is this accurate? Am I accounting for more than they have or am I missing any? I know that many of their studios have multiple teams, which I tried to account for. I don't believe the Flight Simulator team is first party so I didn't include it. MS Games Studio is the Super Lucky Tales team.
MICROSOFT 1st Party:
343 Industries - 1 Team
The Coalition - 2 Teams
Playground Games - 2 Teams
Turn 10 Studios - 1 Team
Ninja Theor...
You mean the S? The one x is whisper quiet.
Nothing will seduce PlayStation diehards to the other side. That's why they are called diehards. This applies to all diehards not just the Sony ones.
Yeah, those 3 PS games don't do anything for me. Same with hellblade though, not feeling it. I'm glad that there's a market for these games though. Diversity means something for everyone. I'll take Ori over anything that MS and Sony are putting out next year.
Haha we did the same with our switch
The only console design that I've ever really liked was the N64. Other than that, they've all just been..ok. They do tend to grow on me. This design doesn't bother me as much. Was not execting the verticallity though. Curious to see it in better lighting.
It could work as long as they offer an option for a disc version as well. Same with the all digital Xbox one. Nothing wrong with giving customers more options. It really depends on how you play.
Give it a shot before poo pooing on it. It might surprise you.
I want wild so bad!
It has to be in the cards, maybe for E3? They have such a great working relationship, seems like a natural acquisition.
I'm happy with the state of xbox now and going into next gen. The big 3 are diverse enough so that there's something for everyone.
@Apocolypse,
I would think it would be much lower priority than 4 or 5. I would think closer to the bottom. But that's just for Xbox consoles. It's different for Windows pc's.
I'm waiting for it to be viable for me to invest in it. It would have to achieve the following:
1. Be teatherless with the ability to see my surroundings without having to remove.
2. Be half the size and weight.
3. Contain a built in audio solution
4. Solve the couch co-op issue
5. Be under $250
6. 4k. No lag
That's what I'm waiting for
VR will begin to pick up again once the technology has matured. Fully untethered, a fraction of the size and weight, 4k screens, no lag, $199. That's the sweet spot for the mainstream audience.
There isn't any reason to be against VR per say. People just need to adjust their approach and stop telling people that it's the future. So are the self driving cars that exist today. But similar to VR, self driving cars are just not ready for mainstream yet. In 10 years, VR units will be fully untethered, a minimum of 4k display, lag free and a fraction of the weight and size. One day, all of that and more will be sold for $199. Once that happens, VR will begin to really take off. Un...
Isn't that that idea the MS is pushing towards?
@Badz149,
I really hope that MS doesn't force the rechargeable battery in the new controllers. MUCH prefer the AA's for convenience. At least give us the option so that we're not stuck with an internal battery.
