What are the little annoyances that you're seeing from Microsoft right now? Seems to me, they shit the bed at the start of this gen in a big way but I struggle to see any little annoyances currently. They've been making all the right moves as of lately with Gamepass, Free BC, creating and acquiring studios. They are trying to set themselves up for success this next gen and I think they're looking 100 times better than they did at the start of this Gen.
Sony exclusives day and date on PSnow would be a HUGE announcement to drop during the next state of play. Announce it an hour after the MS presser to take the wind from their sails.
Could this "Something" be the Nintendo Switch?
If your game is available on multiple platforms, wouldn't you want to show it off on the one that looks the best? Seems like a no brainer.
It would have tanked after millions boycotted it after the knotch scandal.
They basically added a creative mode which is pretty cool. It's a better sandbox now.
Nope, It's slated to come out next year.
Ori and the blind forest. Before that.. probably Borderlands.
This game looks fun. Great family game. Shikoku, get back under your bridge.
I read MS is using Sony's camera sensors for their a.i initiative. Not gaming related though.
Most would have said the same thing about this deal 2 weeks ago.
I believe only playground and ninja theory's new games are expected to be shown on stage. The rest are still to early in development.
More work for developers, more options for consumers which lead to more sales.
Also, I haven't heard devs complaining about it, have you?
I disagree, plenty of games, but to your point, didn't MS invest in a bunch of studios to beef up their exclusive portfolio for next gen? It appears they are putting quite a bit of effort into setting themselves up for a better go around this time. I still hope MS comes in 2nd place next gen. I much prefer the hungry MS.
Your argument applies to MS as well as Sony.
Yeah, it's just another option to add to the mix. Does seem like it's releasing way too late in the generation though. I was also expecting $200. I don't see anyone buying this at $250.
Not really throwing shade. If you're asked what differentiates from your competitors, you're expected to have an answer.
Just because MS is a trillion dollar company, doesn't mean that they have to invest in console VR. If Xbox fans were clamoring for VR, MS would pivot to capitalize on it. The fact that VR reception has been lukewarm at best, just proves that it's not ready for primetime just yet. VR has been around for 20+ years and will be around for 20+ more. Of course, you need to start somewhere, but I think we started a generation too early with console VR. I like that MS if going down a differen...
I would be cool with that, I don't care about achievements. Just like playing fun games. Can i ask the hard core how they would feel about that? No achievements for the sake of an easy mode?
I'm looking forward to Sony's big state of play for E3. Do you think they will keep continuing to go big with these state of plays?
